My family has a tradition that goes back over 100 yrs. On July 4th, we have ice cream for breakfast. It started back when the Milkman would deliver milk. My great grandmother would order 1 gallon of ice cream on July 4th as a treat for her 12 children. She didn't have ice box to keep it frozen. So when it was delivered in the morning on July 4th everyone ate ice cream b4 it melted.

The small amusement park by me had a thing called a “Tilt-o-Whirl” it was a large disc that spun and tilted randomly, on it were these pods on wheels in a circular rail that spun around also randomly since they moved with gravity only. This didn’t had any sort of pattern, so you spun around and tilted back and forth wildly for 2 minutes... there was a reason the thing was nicknamed “tilt-o-hurl.”
