This was one of my late mother's favorite songs. We were a Navy family. The three of us McKane kids, ages 76, 73, and 70, still love the United States Navy. Thank you folks for your hard work and for sharing your obvious love of the service and our country with humanity! Go Navy!

Love this and the harmony, perfect pairing of voices. I miss the dungaree bell bottom uniform--probably much cooler than today's multi-layered mess especially with the combat boots for the ladies also.
When bell bottom trousers came into vogue circa 1970 (I don't recall exactly cuz it's been a long time), my mother sang some of this song to me when I brought home my first pair.
I remember hearing this song on the “Doctor Demento” show. So fun!
