Tanmit vs ColorTechnik Glitter Gel Pens || Review & Compare

I know some people love watching the full swatching of the pens and others don't, so by making the swatching separate you can chose if you want to watch that or not!
Note: Although these pens are only available on Amazon.com, they can still be purchased and shipped to the UK via Amazon. The cost with shipping and pre-paid customs usually works out about £28-£30 which is not a bad price for 80 Glitter Gel Pens and the matching refills. When ordering from Amazon.com, it takes about 8-12 days for the pens to arrive.

Thanks for this Lily , as usual a fantastic review and comparison. Amazon USA currently has $5 off coupon on Tanmit glitter gel pens. With postage etc they come to £29.19. On Amazon UK they are selling for £49.17. Best Buy is From USA and per delivery info will be here next week.
I’m kinda disappointed with the tanmit pens , I got the set of 120 it was very difficult for me put them in a slot case and taking them out to color then next the ink was so bad that there was a lot of bubble throughout the ink… I spent $28 for them instead I gave them to my little cousins and ordered the Aen art 120 set I spent for $19 hopefully they work for me I just have a hard time finding gel pens that the tip of the pen is very scratchy
I agree Dolly, I was disappointed with the Tanmit pens too. We can’t get the Aen Art ones in the UK but I’ve heard they are good. My favourites are the Color Technik brand (they look similar to the Aen Art ones and are similar price but have been out of stock for a while)
@@ArtJourneyUK idk why people say tanmit gel pens color like a dream… lovely colors but another bad note about them is the pen body when I take them out and back in the case they look almost about break so I just have them away,
Aen gel pens I can see a huge difference that the pen body is abit thicker and and I love how they have a rubber grip while handling I’m just disappointed but at least I did give them a chance for almost 2-3 weeks of usage but uhhhh I don’t recommend them
@@LunaRose144 Totally agree. To me the Tanmit pens are the same as many other cheap gel pens.
@@ArtJourneyUK yes !!! I think gel pens with grips is way much easier to handle specially if you’re coloring a period of time
Aen have weird colors not impressed.

Hmm maybe. I went to have a look at the reviews on Amazon.com afterwards and a few mention the pens leaking, so who knows 🤷🏻♀️

That’s crazy what happened to that green?! Wow. I’ll be watching for popping w my Tanmits now. I do love most of the colors. Have you tried the AenArts? They seem the same as Tanmits though theyre a mix of gels not just glitters.
Hi Leslie, I've not tried the AenArts, they are not available in the UK so probably won't.
@@ArtJourneyUK Aww. Well, theyre the same pens just regular gels and a few being glitter. Same case, same everything but the brand name. I need to check the ink barrels like you did. I did a comparison vid but didnt look at the ink barrels. (Not sure what to call that part) haha
I just received an AenArts set that are all glitter. And I just ordered the Tanmit...oops...lol

I was rooting for the Tanmit but I'd be worried about leaking now.
I’ll be honest, the leaking has put me off them too. I went and read the reviews after this and there’s a couple of mentions of leaking pens 😕
Maybe that bigger capacity has a downside 🤷🏻♀️
