What I don't understand is the narrative that everyone pushes like he's the worst QB in all of NFL. I will defend him in that aspect bc there's a whole lot of QBs that aren't anything special but get that treatment. Dak's flaws get amplified only bc of the team he plays on.
Dak is still, at minimum, a top 10 QB in the league. MVP finalist last year, putting up record stats for a Cowboys QB. I don't know what he has to do to make people see he's a good QB, but most teams would be markedly improved if they acquired him for their team.
As the biggest Romo guy, Dak is still a top 10 QB and many teams wish they had a QB remotely close to Daks play. At his best he's an MVP candidate and the 2016-17 reference is dumb as he was just a year 1-2 player only 2-3 guys have ever done it that early in their careers.

I took that as his admittance he still somewhat is or at least most of his life has been a 49er fan. He was famously at the Cowboys vs 49er NFC championship game, The Catch, against the cowboys as a young kid. His slights about America's team help solidify this too.

As a bills fan, while Tom Brady was the ire of our team for 20 years. I've gotten my catharsis from watching the Patriots crumble and prove that is was Tom Brady who was fantastic and his teammates who were killing it and the Pats and Bill are now very separate from him as a player/person. So itll be interesting to watch him on Fox games
