TRG Colosseum just gets better with each year.
It really does. This was a great and enjoyable year
Inb4 all the #MALSWEEP, the #3MOISTBOYS, and the “I’m Tom” posts.
Somehow TRG Colosseum continues to be one of the amazing community events I enjoy watching. And this year was no exception, given how many clips were made for it.
And also the most chaotic with their segments this year, almost every segment brought joy and a smile to my face, along with plenty of laughter.
I love how despite knowing very well about Rosajon to the point where he had offered to make up his own Mario girl alt as Mayor Jirardlene and despite getting to become good friends with everyone at Colosseum, there’s still plenty about TRG and its circle that catch Jirard off-guard. Never a dull moment with these Guys, and I’m glad that Jirard is a part of the day crew now instead of just working behind the scenes.
Thanks for the FFXIV footage BTW. I know very little about it outside of the memes and the chaos that Lucah usually brings to Cactuar, but I can appreciate the shenanigans that go on in that game and how ridiculous they can get. I remember Luxin saying that the Regalia parade was the first time his computer had trouble rendering things in the overworld or something like that.

@@samweaver9109 When you get a chance, there’s a FFXIV Reddit post about an outsider looking in at the Cactuar server that day. They just wanted to go to Ul’dah for a Little Ladies event. They didn’t expect to see a cult spelling out the letters “TRG” with their red robed bodies.

I was especially hoping there would be a continuation of the "Lamp Arc". Or was there, and I just missed it?
@@samweaver9109 If you’re talking about Stephen’s Lamp film bumpers, that ended (or the last one was shown) at Colo 2022 with Lord Dona’tor reuniting with the Lamp. There’s only one letterhead bumper made by Stephen per Colo (so far since 2020), and this year’s was the T-posing bumper.

I find myself enjoying events less every year because it shows how everyone else has friends that they can have fun with in person and amplifies my own loneliness. I miss everyone in my life like crazy and I wish I could be with them.
