Somehow, I got flashbacks to one of the early Thrown Controllers with the Tetris question when I read that comment.
I remember everyone in the chat was like "How did you not get pokemon?" and I was like "guys, this is Jon, he doesn't play pokemon XD"
Still he plays Smash though.
I don't think he plays the Pokemon Stadiums that often though.
And yet, StephenPlays confirmed that he plays Pokemon Go, but does that really count? Kind of, but not really, as Pokemon Go stands out as its own thing, separate from the other games in the series.

You know. That obscure as hell game for PS1, Saturn, PC and 3DO?
I managed to get 10 songs/franchises out of that, but good god was it close. Half of them I almost flubbed. Lucky I'm a big music nut, so I was able to recognize music even from games I've never played, like Ace Attorney. The biggest break for me was Metroid, then Pokemon, then Castlevania, because Metroid transitioning into Pokemon slipped me up for a moment, but Pokemon lasted a teensy bit longer than most others, and Castlevania was SUPER easy for me, so by the time it continued, I gathered my bearings.
I recognize Pac-Man's intro, Metroid's theme, Legend of Zelda, Mario's theme, Katamari Damacy, Kirby, Mega Man, Pokemon's theme, and Ace Attorney's Cornered theme. I haven't played much of the other games that appeared here.
I am a fan of Portal, Minecraft, and Tetris though. Minecraft's hard to recognize in electric guitar, Tetris barely lasts long enough to identify its theme, but I think Portal's is Still Alive (I don't know the songs well)?

I learned how to play this medley recently from Jules tabs and it makes me feel a lot better that Jules messed up some of the songs that I really struggle to play and he's a much much better guitarist than I am haha

My heart got very happy when Dragon Quest was played in the medley, especially with that riff.
Despite seeing this before, I viewed this when I couldn't remember the entire list. I only knew Jules likes to end it off on the combo of Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario Bros.

The problem I had with the Saturday stream was that it clashed with the Splatfest so I was switching between playing Splatoon and watching the stream. Having just maxed out my Splatfest rank, I decided to call it a night there and just watch the stream. I got back just in time to catch this part. Unfortunately, Twitch decided to be a jerk to me and give me audio but no visual, meaning that I couldn't see what the games where, nor could I see Jon's reactions!
