    Best case scenario , you pull the cylinders off and the piston rings are free you could get just 1 cylinder resleeved and re use the piston rings.
    Also to answer your question about bikes vs cars I love both and it's great to see you do too especially Kawasakis 😉. But both are expensive hobbies and I can understand why people pick one over the other.

    I am 68 now... I bought a new 85 GPZ900
    in September 84. Four years later I had put 40,000 miles on it even though we get snow here. What a fun bike it was !
    Easter Sunday 1985 I went to red line in top gear..... Yes 151 miles per hour. I have so many memories... Crashes, Drag strip.. 11:09 @ 121. I could lean over so far that 1/3rd of the foot pegs were ground away. A second gear wheel for hundreds of feet while holding the throttle wide open going up a freeway on ramp..... I felt like a hardened road criminal riding that thing.
    Also 10 rear tires and 9 fronts, brake pads and 4 drive chain's. OK I will stop now. 😜😜😜😜

    Those pistons look pretty big.
    I'd look up the bore size and then find a common sized engine with the same or smaller pistons ans use those rings. Measure a ring with a micrometer. New rings will have specs before you purchase. Get a ring of the same thickness within .4mm of your bore and you'll be fine.

    • @d4a
      @d4a  Před 4 lety

    Lots of car guys see motocycle people as these idiots who rush on the motorways at 250km/h clearly looking for danger while there's so much more to this! But mostly as the "more responsible" guys they get the attitude of not liking bikes at all just because some people are not so careful. That's at least what I have noticed from few years of watching both communities.

      Seems like the wrong engine to me, yeah I know these guys likely have them, but it's probably going to be around 200-300eur, I'll leave that as a last resort 😊

    I find Cars more dangerous, expensive, and more work than Motorcycles, though I like Cars more.
    Maybe Bikes are more cheaper and more easier to work on compare to Cars?
