  • here is the link to these speaker led rings. they come as one piece and are 6 rings soldered together.
    I initially had them set as the Same setting as the undercabinet lights in the online dof config tool.
    I actually have these Same lights but larger 9ring versions as my undercabinet lights and they are easier and brighter then running strips around the bottom or back of your pinball cabinet. initially I set the two top speaker ring sets the Sam's as the undercabinet ones because there is no speaker setting In the online tool. so what I got was just solid colors the whole time which is what your bottom or back lights usually light up as to kind of set the mood of the table.
    I have a flasher bar at the top of my table and a matrix won't fit,but since the rings are all connected you basically have two circle matrixs. while not exactly the same , I set both of the speaker settings to the rear matrix settings and now instead of just solid colors I get different patterns,colors and shapes etc on both for every table. it looks awesome!
    here's the link to the exact ones I'm using and they fit perfectly behind 4inch speaker grills which also could be purchased on amazon.
    it is my affiliate link, but for both they only cost like $25 or something and I think definitely worth it. hope you guys enjoy. please post photos of your builds online.i love seeing what people come up with.

    Very nice video! What speakers are you using? Liked/subbed

      Thanks. Believe it or not , I use the same speakers set in all my builds ever since finding these . They are Logitech 2.1 computer speakers. The subwoofer is HUGE.
      The model number is Logitech Z623, 2.1 THX speaker set. The two speakers just sit in my backbox behind the speaker rings. That's what allows me to use 6 ring, flat led rings so I can have them do designs more like a matrix rather then a backbox.
      Here's a link to the speakers. They are on Sale. You can go into a bestbuy and listen to how they sound.

      Hey, thanks for the detailed response! It's funny 'cause I just put up a video about using Logitech Z313's for a A1up TERMINATOR mod. You do awesome work BTW....

      Oh yeah - just ordered the LG C2 OLED for the new build. Don't know how big a difference it will make on older tables or FX3 tables, but on some of the new ones I'm hoping it's a game changer. Essentially trying to make a world-class vpin for $2000....

      I like the logitech z407 since it had a wireless controller for volume and bass adjustment

    Hi. I believe I have that same exact light bar from Phillip but I'm struggling to get it working. I'm fairly familiar with using the VP Universe DOF config tool but for some reason, no matter how I assign my ports, nothing works. Can you please share your config file?

    What DMD Oled are you using?

    • @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming
      @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming  Před 11 měsíci +1

      If you go on amazon.com search for 15.6inch OLED. It's crazy expensive. It's actually a portable oled screen as thin as a iPad etc. I don't give out links because I don't want peoples money. Personally, all I have is oleds now in everything lol if you see I posted a new video showing my 83inch LG C2OLED running off my arcade machine. It's awesome bro. Expensive though, just warning you ahead. They have non oled ones also that are like $199. I have one to take to the beach etc. And it looks good because it's glossy, but I mean if your asking about an OLED for your dmd. Your a smart man already and know what's what.

      Thanks, man! I saw the Video with your massive 83 inch OLED. Very nice! I have a LCD 15.6 in my VPIN but the Black Levels and colors are very bad if you compare them to my OLED 4K playfield. I think i have to upgrade my dmd screen.
      Is your 32 inch backglass also an OLED?

    • @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming
      @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming  Před 11 měsíci +1

      @KoolKolo , unfortunately besides the 15.6 OLED, I ONLY BUY LGC2OLEDS. THey basically are gaming monitors , 4 hdmi ports 4K@120Hz, VRR, gsync etc. For my back glass I'm using the LG Ultragear+ 32inch 4k 144hz gaming monitor. But to be honest and this is true before that I used the LG 32inch 1440p 165hz 1ms monitor and it looked amazing. And because it's up top you don't notice any real difference, it's an amazing monitor for only like $399. The 4k one is like $1399. For a backglass monitor. If I didn't retire young, I would recommend people use the LG 1440p monitor for the backglass. It's an amazing screen and picture. Like you, the 15.6 inch full dmd over my 42inch LGC2OLED bothered me. I added a flasher bar under it and speaker leds and all that a stuff which helped. But exactly as you said you notice it.
      I have a topper monitor from Amazon that is lcd and its just trash looking compared to all the other screens. Lol

      @KoolKolo let me know how you like the OLED 15.6INCH. , I PROMISE YOU EVEN THE 1080P ONE IS AMAZING LOOKING. ITS ON AMAZON. I think in the ad they show, on the fake picture, on the screen shows like a woman's face with all colors on it. I def didn't need a 4k version on a 15.6inch screen. Lol. I promise you will install it and love it. It uses a micro hdmi input, but don't remember if I had to buy it or if it came with one.

      @@JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming I will let you know. I will order the 15.6" OLED with 1080p. I just need punchier colors and the true blacks even on my DMD. I will also think about the QLED for my backglass.
      You have a unique setup with all OLED and even the hint with the Service remote for the C2 is more than welcome!
      Can you also show all your settings for the C2? Like color gamut and how bright you have it and so on? Your screen seems to be very good calibrated 🙂

    You're not worried about burn in on an OLED? Many features of tables are static

    • @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming
      @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming  Před rokem

      Burn in on any brand new OLEDs is almost impossible. I havent seen burn in in any screen in over 6-7 years and thar was on cheap lcd screens. Even if you turn off all the energy saving features of a oled, you can just leave something like pixle shift on and never have a issue. And if you get a LG OLED it's such quality its not gonna happen.

      @@JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming I'm considering moving up to the 1440 165hz screen from Costco. Do I need to restart build the whole popper library for the new screen setup or can I just run the screen configuration tool again?

    • @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming
      @JerseyJohnnysElectronicsGaming  Před rokem

      @Endorfin Fishing you dont run thr popper baller Installer again. You just need to run the configdisplay.bat file in your pinup system folder. After that you need to open every emulators you use, vpx,.future pinball, fx3 etc and change it.to.the correct resolution. You may have to adjust some.of your dmds etc possibly. But that's it. It's not hard

    • @svenop

      Thanks, good news to hear! I was worried I would have to restart the library of games again. I wish there was a 4k in a size to drop into the ALP. I guess a new larger cab and 4k will be down the line for me. The 1440 looked like a nice improvement over the stock 1080p so I should be happy
