Boston College vs. Clemson Condensed Game | 2021 ACC Football

- The Boston College Eagles battled the Clemson Tigers until the very end in Death Valley, but Clemson prevailed, 19-13. Running backs Kobe Pace and Phil Mafah stepped in for the injued Will Shipley and combined for 178 rushing yards with Pace scoring a touchdown. Wide receiver Joseph Ngata paced Clemson with 111 yards receiving in the win. Boston College quarterback Dennis Grosel threw for 311 yards, and Eagles running back Pat Garwo III rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown in their first loss of the season.

BC fan here, I didn’t expect to win but I thought they put up a valiant effort. Coach Hafley has BC heading in the right direction. I was disappointed that BC wasn’t in the top 25 after the 4-0 start but then again who has BC beat? They haven’t beat anybody good in a long long time. But Hafley looks like he’s getting close to changing that.
Clemson fan here, but I thought y'all should have won this game. We made way too many mistakes and a lot of that came from y'all. I know moral victories honestly mean nothing, but if y'all stay the course, i can see y'all getting to 10 wins this season. Much respect for the BC program and Coach hafley. Y'all are definitely going in the right direction. Also, I'd be angry at the conference for having to come here 3 straight years (yea i know COVID had something to do with that but I don't see how they couldn't adjust that for this year).
Another Clemson fan here…you guys should have won the game…your Quarterback is definitely better than ours…our quarterback and I say our quarterback because I have problems trying to spell or say his name..anyway I don’t know what his problem is he’s inaccurate with the ball and just appears lost at times…our offense is struggling all the way around…that fumble was unfortunate for you guys..y’all were about to win the game. That had to be rough on you guys..y’all deserved the win.
Third Clemson fan here, BC is on its way to becoming a real power house and a problem for a bunch of teams. Coach Hafley is a great coach and yall are about to be top of the ACC in no time hopefully were right there with yall🐅

I live 40 miles from Clemson,SC....my favorite team is whoever is playing Clemson.
Some of those snaps from Boston College were horrific. You just knew they'd cough it up before scoring a TD at the end.
Both Centers were struggling to deliver the ball all night.
Clemson needs a new QB and BC needs a new center
Sometimes as a BC fan I look back and think what could’ve been. If BC was 5-0 fresh off of beating 25 ranked Clemson we 100% would’ve been ranked
I hope the Eukelele is a lot better this year than last. Dabo has a lot of confidence in him, but he’s going to need to throw a lot more than 10 TD’s this year to go along with Clemson’s defense thats touted as one of the best in the country for 2022. Shipley is no Wayne Gallman or Etiene in the backfield, but he’s not bad. New offensive and defensive coordinators as well. I’m geeked for the season to begin and hope that my Tigers can go undefeated and win the ACC at the very least! My Dad was a Clemson grad ‘63 and I miss him. Clemson is in our fabric.

@@mystery900jk9 How old are you? Clemson was an average to above average program until about 10 years ago when they had the greatest run in their schools history. If you’ve never seen Clemson like this than you must be either 10 years old or started following college football 10 years ago. BC and Clemson were both similar programs until the last decade.

His footwork and his release is freaken slow. I’m a bama fan and I’m just checking on Clemson and see how they doing because people been saying they been doing bad and lord have mercy when I saw their ranking I couldn’t believe it. He is very flat footed back there. Not vet accurate and pretty damn slow release. Hope he get better.

If he (BC QB) was just accurate enough to hit Zay Flowers on a deep just once BC wins the game. They double and tripled him all game and flowers still was able to get open. QB couldn’t deliver.

OK who the Hell is producing this video when in the 2nd half after a punt by Clemson and a reception at the 40 the following play a huge pass caught at Clemsons 29 and then the next play presented is Boston College punting from their 40. BC qb and snapper lost that game, though the reffing super sus, Clemson was off sides a few times with no call. BC quarterback never climbed the ladder, always back peddling, and that's why he kept getting intercepted.
I would call it a fair for a no call on Clemson going offside for a TERRIBLE roughing the passer call where the Clemson player barley touched the qbs helmet
