- The Clemson Tigers won at home, 30-20 over the Florida State Seminoles. Tigers running back Will Shipley carried the ball 25 times for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. Quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei threw for 189 yards and 1 touchdown on the day. For the Seminoles, quarterback Jordan Travis threw for 176 yards and 2 touchdowns.

WORD. I seriously think NC State is almost there, Miami and Florida State are almost back and Louisville, Boston College and Pittsburg will be tough for the foreseeable future. The ACC is trending upward and even if Clemson is back to form, it will be a tough season coming up. Good Luck to the Seminoles, or whichever team you pull for.

Fsu offense still has a ways to go and so does clemsons fsu is young up front and clemson is young everywhere. With 9 new starters. But fsu defense is alot better than people think. And clemsons defense is good as it usually is

This might be the only time you see this comment from me, but let's give that sideline official his due on the crazy 2nd FSU TD. One, he had enough awareness not to blow the play dead. That seems easy, but we've seen them blow live plays dead so many times. Then, he was all over it on the tightrope walk down the sideline. He even kept up with him most of the way.
BTW, did the color guy call a Clemson RB a "mofo" (in a positive way) or did I hear it wrong?

The refs? We were watching different games, I guess. I don't remember seeing any bad calls. I saw penalties called. Unless the game is too complicated for you to understand, then yea, it must be the refs. Unless they should consult with you about your feelings before calling or not calling a penalty.

People lost SO MUCH MONEY on this game . . or saved themselves. That last play cost me $4,500, because the under in this game was 48.5. Clemson scores to push the point total to 50. I would've had a perfect 7 out of 7 parlay. Instead, I lose the chance at $4500. And if you had FSU +9.5, this also devastated you.

Talk about colapse how does DJ throw for 400 in two games last year and can't do anything this year. Even with a bad line he'd still get a few hundred yards. Just sucks that DJ's a bust and will be part of the reason we don't get 10 wins this year. Hopefully, Cade and Shipley will get us back next year.
He doesn't have near the talent he had last year. Shipley is going to be a Heisman candidate before he leaves clemson though.

I've watched enough football in my life to recognize when a preseason Heisman favorite is not playing well. He hasn't had a good game all season. Not one. Clemson has a different expectation after DW and Tlaw. Their worst game was probably better than anything DJ has done this year.

If DJ can’t pass for 200 against this defense he’s never going to. This FSU defense is hot garbage… they made ND’s quarterback who’s never been known for his arm look like Tom Brady, and Jacksonville State shredded them in the air, and the Syracuse kid that was starting his first game even moved the ball through the air when he’s clearly a running back pretending to be a quarterback. But still minus more than half their starters they found a way to win… be it against probably the worst team in the country.
The Florida State Defense is extremely young. I agree Clemson isn’t winning the ACC this year. 2 bad calls helped a struggling Clemson offense move down field and score.
