Mooer pedals are great small footprint and cheap (especially used) got a yellow comp and Trelicopter for 40$ each..... These pedals never leave my pedalboard.
Great idea. For someone who doesn't need (or like to use) a lot of pedals, this is a big plus. The mini pedals are gaining popularity and quality is getting better. I have a Tweed Deluxe, no reverb or tremolo, both of which I like. So, those two plus a versatile overdrive, wah, and maybe a delay would be plenty. Size and ease of use is of prime importance to me. Love that mini wah. The flip out extensions are awesome. I'm in!
Hey Phillip, thanks for the great vids. Really a big help for those of us just getting started. Took advantage of the FREE Pedal Board with 3 Mooer Pedals. Man, that's a screamin deal on that used PRS Santana. Wish I didn''t have one coming already.
Hey Phil, I just stumbled across your channel recently and I think you do a fantastic job. You obviously have a great knowledge, and I really like the non-confrontational way you impart your your opinions. If I am ever in AZ, you can be assured I will stop by the shop and say hello!
Thanks for this. Question - since the power supply spaces are already set, does this mean that one will have to buy Mooer (or other pedals) that have the power plugs in place to match the spaces on the pedalboard? Or is it fairly simple to take out the foam, and do a more custom job on this, using your own foam and so on?
Phillip, great review, great deal. I really like the little mini Wah. Could you let us know how the buy three, get a free pedal board deal works. I looked on your site and could not find it. Thanks for all you do!
Now that I see you playing a Gibson Les Paul I remembered the Gibson Les Paul HD 6X pro digital with its Magic Box. Did you have the chance to try on that equipment? I would love to see those electronics on a explorer
Mooer The Wahter (Wah) Mooer Hustle Drive (OCD clone) Mooer Soul Shiver (Modulation: Chorus, Vibrato, Rotary) Mooer Ana Echo (Delay) Mooer Micro Looper (Looper) Mooer Baby Tuner (Tuner) --- Overall nice lineup of effects. Only 1 drive/dirt pedal, unfortunately - I'd like to have at least 2, so I'd get rid of either the tuner or the wah to be honest. Would also swap out the mod for a reverb after the delay. Maybe lose the wah (or tuner) for a Mooer Radar to be amp-independent.
Phillip McKnight I know this was 2 years ago, but can you tell me about the tele over your right shoulder? I think it's off-white or vintage white...but boy I'm a fan of buttercream guitars. Thanks!
hey pal - this is awesome! I've blackstar fly 3 and this would be perfect! may i ask, with the pedalboard and all those EXACT pedals you have in there, what was the overall cost? I'm very VERY tempted! cheers! xxx
So I was watching you vid on pedel boards quick question I have 3 a boss loop pedel a reverb by donner and a distortion morpher by donner should they go in any special order ?? I'm holding to get a wah wah at some point also but what order would u recommend or don't it matter ???
Hey Phil, where did you get the blue knobs on your ibanez? I really liked that guitar so I went and bought one, but I want to change the knobs like you did.
Hello great vid! Just wanna ask something. Very in love with mooer pedals right now and was thinking of making a board which consists entirely of mooers, but what are the cons of mooer pedals compared to the normal sized pedals? Thanks in advance
Probably answering a bit late for your case, but maybe my comment can help others. -- Mini pedals pros: + smaller footprint + lighter +same quality effect They're great if you need to squeeze in an extra effect or 2 into an already overcrowded pedalboard. Or if you want a highly portable pedalboard. 10-12 effects on a board the size of a guitar body? Count me in! Cons: - no battery power - *some* pedals have fewer features than the normal version (e.g. tc electronics' hall of fame and flashback minis) - not as stable (especially when not secured to board) - smaller target to hit when on stage -- Mooer pedals are generally well-made and qualitative. Their micro range covers any type of effect you could want. They even have a number of copies of other pedals (black secret = proco rat, blues mood = boss bd-2 blues driver, hustle drive = fulltone OCD, yellow comp = diamond compressor). Many of their pedals are renowned in their own right (trelicopter) and their copies are often (nearly) as good as the original. A couple of their pedals can be hit-or-miss but most are great. At 1/2 or even 1/3 of the price of some other brands, there's nothing to complain about. -- So yeah, a Mooer pedalboard isn't a bad idea. However: there's plenty of other mini pedals worth checking out, like: Ibanez 850 FzMini, Ibanez Tubescreamer, TC Electronics hall of fame, TC ditto, TC flashback, TC hypergravity, mxr dyna comp mini, dunlop bonamassa mini buzz face, jhs mini foot fuzz, xotic ep booster, wampler tumnus, malekko trem, mxr mini phase 95,... Also: check out the Mooer Radar (and its small brother TresCab) as well as their preamps. A preamp + cabsim allows you to just plug into a mixer or (flat response) speaker cabinet - no need to haul an amp, extra mobility!
bro, what u have to say about mooer skyverb ? be honest, please... boss rv5 really worth double of the price or the mooer is enought to strumming with a really good sound?
Depends - I have one of these - Mooer does some great overdrive, distortion clones, but their delays and reverbs are not too hot. I use mini TC Electronic's HOF & Flashback as substitutes - and, yes, I did need to work a bit of the foam off. To perfectly fit the Mooer mini wah, actually, you don't have to scrap the foam, but will need the right Mooer casing, which would be the Firefly M6 Flight Case, and not, as the one shown here, the Firefly M5.
I love my mooer expression pedal its sweep isn't very good but it is tiny for my size 4 feet. but it doesn't work with the zoom multi stomp ms-50g or ms70. Anyone had the same problem? Although it does work with my boss Sy300.
Nick Zazza has been gigging that same pedal board for years. He might have two now but I remember the wah he had folded out. The YT was him at the Moorer factory. Pretty cool for the gigging guitarist.
Everyone is going crazy for Mooer lately. Ain't they just the same as all the other Chinese minis eg Donner, Rowin and Caline etc? What makes Mooer stand out from the rest. Best one I've seen is Elec Lady rest are pretty standard imo
I suspect that the only mic in the room is the one I see in front of you, and I think it's not doing the pedals justice. I hear "tone sucking" even with the pedals off like in 2:47. I know it's not me going deaf because I can hear you clearly when you turn towards the microphone. Maybe you should have mic'd up the cab also.
These mini pedals are all poor sounding , which is why they're all cheap ! I doubt people demoing these cheap pedals are actually even plugged into them !! They are only giving hope to guitarist who can't afford good quality pedals ! Oh, don't buy direct from DonnerCA , they don't honor the 30 day return policy !! Buy from Amazon if you're desperate , for at least one can return the pedal for whatever reason !!

GREAT video. I actually like some of these pedals and might get em now. Thanks!
That mini wah is so cool
+Tom Luckner Yes, that mini way is AWESOME! Might be worth buying the whole thing just for that!! LOL!
Love the fold out on the mini wah!
3:43 that wasn't a bad note, that was the best note you played in this whole video, and you play well!
This pedal board + my BOSS katana + laptop = a workhorse ❤
This is the older version of this pedal board, the newer one has a dedicated spot for the wah pedal and is more compact but slightly longer.
+Gary Mould They also do an even smaller one for four pedals (Firefly M4). Nice demo though BTW!
i have the mooer yellow compressor and the eleclady, both INSANELY BEAUTIFUL and so cheap! amazing for gilmour tones.
I have a mooer pocket distortion and love the lot of possibillities it offers. Congrats for the very Nice stuff. Regards from São Paulo.
Wow, that soul shiver sounds great.
That’s a nice compact board with some great sounding pedals.
Hey Phillip, thanks for the great vids. Really a big help for those of us just getting started. Took advantage of the FREE Pedal Board with 3 Mooer Pedals.
Man, that's a screamin deal on that used PRS Santana. Wish I didn''t have one coming already.
+Shoman Blues Thank you again for supporting the store. Those are great guitars hard to beat for the money.
I love that Mini-Wah! Haven't seen one here in Germany.
That soul, shiver is amazing. I wish there was a reverb pedal
At 3:46, right before you said "ooh bad note", I though to myself "ooh good note"
Mooer E-Lady Flanger and Trelicopter Tremolo are both incredible pedals.
That's fricken so cool. 😎👍👌💯🎸🎸
Nice! Great video.
Hi Phil please keep doing what you're doing brother All the very best to you

+Don Thorvund Im always there stop in anytime.
@@PhillipMcKnightHello,Phil!Very cool sound! What combo amp are you using in this video?
Mooer makes cool gear. I like ‘em
Rotary is just chorus and tremolo together… So it does have a "2 at once" option.
Hey Phil, awesome content, as always. What mic is the blue one you use in this vid? Thanks for being awesome.
Thanks for this.

Im getting back into amps and pedals now you can get good 1w-5w tube amps and I'm pretty much just going to buy these little things.
Phillip, great review, great deal. I really like the little mini Wah. Could you let us know how the buy three, get a free pedal board deal works. I looked on your site and could not find it. Thanks for all you do!
Links to all of the pedals would have been cool. The looper is first in the line up or is that next to last?
Great video :):)
i have the mooer eq pedal and it is awesome
Phill use a little compression and limiting on your audio tracks will even out your voice throughout your clips. Cheers sounds good!
Now that I see you playing a Gibson Les Paul I remembered the Gibson Les Paul HD 6X pro digital with its Magic Box. Did you have the chance to try on that equipment? I would love to see those electronics on a explorer
I just bought a Mooer distortion pedal. It's my first Mooer product, so I'm hoping it will be ok.
It is die cast, it is heavy and it is good.
I enjoyed your video :) The pedals are powered using daisy chain, so does it have noise? thanks for your response!
Mooer The Wahter (Wah)
Mooer Hustle Drive (OCD clone)
Mooer Soul Shiver (Modulation: Chorus, Vibrato, Rotary)
Mooer Ana Echo (Delay)
Mooer Micro Looper (Looper)
Mooer Baby Tuner (Tuner)

Sorry for the late post. Ever try the Joyo pedals? Been really digging their OCD clone and their Tubescreamer clone.
bro, what u have to say about mooer skyverb ? be honest, please... boss rv5 really worth double of the price or the mooer is enought to strumming with a really good sound?
having played boss blues driver... what do you think of the mooer blues mood pedal? sounds pretty good to me...do you agree?
Does that tuner work for a 5 string bass?
Wow nice
I use a Mooier noisekiller and a delay.
Is this a good pedalboard (the mooer firefly) for gigging and band rehersals?
Why'd you put the tuner at the end of your chain?
That's pretty sweet!! ....can you put other pedals in it or is the foam specifically shapped for those pedals?
you might, but I do not think so.
yes! see above

Phil will Donner and Kokko pedals work with it?
fucking sweet
What cables are you using between the pedals?
Cool

You mean Neil?
Does the TC electronics mini pedals fits in this pedalboard?
flabens a little bit snug but yeah, I fit in a mini HOF in my M6 case.
hey Phil, tuner in the back seat? I always ran it first in line. Is that wrong?
i usually run tuner at the end because it can be a good way to just kill the sound so you dont have any trails from reverb or delay
I’ve been running it at the end the last few months and it works fine. Just want to make sure other effects are off to get a decent tune.
What brand that pedalboard case???
ignore the kisses, dude - that's a text habit of mine!! Ha!
Can you fit boss or Mxr size pedals on it?
+John Heinecke No, it does not seem to.
the power supply is integrated? on board?
Emanuel Chete yes
Wouldn’t the worlds smallest pedal board be no pedal board?
Are they expensive?
average price is $79.99 but they go on sale all the time.
Phillip McKnight OK. Thanks!
Will you carry the wah pedal? I wasn't able to find it on the site.
I just added and the pedal board www.mcknightguitarco.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_67&product_id=311
Mooer just lost a lawsuit to EHX. They do more than clone.
Dude but you can only fit 6 pedals on there. There will be some jealousy.
Use your foot to switch.
Everyone is going crazy for Mooer lately. Ain't they just the same as all the other Chinese minis eg Donner, Rowin and Caline etc?
