- Rocky progress on my Citroen C25 motorhome brakes project as I discover I have accidentally thrown away some of the new parts vital to it's completion.

Looking good Alex, almost there.
Thanks, let's hope so!
Just keep cool. Have a cup of tea and relax. It will work out all ok. Cheers from old George and Jane 👍🤠👫🤔
Yes, I'm sure we'll get there in the end 🙂
Great film Alex, second side was much quicker, your a brake service pro now.The wheels look cool well done!
Thanks for sharing.
Quicker to get off I guess but now I'm waiting for the replacement kit 🤣🙄
The wheels look great, will be great once you get them back on the van. I have a safe place I keep things, if I ever find it I will have loads of goodies to play with.
Ah well, our house is riddled with 'safe places' the other day I found some replacement coolant bleed screws that arrived a while back in one of them and made a mental note. Now, of course, I have lost the mental note.....
I wish my garage was as tidy as yours, I spend half my time looking for the parts I put away safely😁
haha, well it's not so tidy really, I'm often told by the boss what a mess it is!
It is not just throughout the land that people ask about your brake project. Every day people here in Spain say, "¿Como va el projecto de los frenos de Alex?" No doubt much the same is happening throughtout Europe.
Very smart wheels and tyres!
When you complete the job I think Nikki will need to wear a crash helmet, in case she hits her head on the winscreen when you brake.
That is our mission, to unite the world through the medium of motorhome maintenance 🚐🔧🥰❤
🤦♂️we’ve all been there Alex, wheels look smart.
Thanks, I'm quite pleased with how they look 👍
The most important tool in any ones workshop...Mug of TEA/COFFEE.Glad to see it follows you everywhere. Could be a new character for you when you make a mistake. Mr Mug 😂....Jim👍
Definitely, my boss from Canada was over a while back and after telling her it was time for tea a few times she asked me how I knew it was time for tea as it always seemed a different time. I asked her if she could see the bottom of her mug, she said yes, then it's time for more was the answer!
ttxela 😂👍
Wheels look great. Very hot rod. I think I will be doing mine the same. Thank you.
I am quite pleased with the look, just use compatible paints! 🤣
Keep going mate you are getting there.
Wheels look really nice 👌
Thanks. they are brush painted so don't stand up to a close examination but that's not really the intention :)
@@ttxela of course it just makes them look smart and different .
Beauty 👍
Chas.
They look great mutt wheels next..you have done a great job
I did wonder about some airbrushing on the Mutt. I do quite like the current colour scheme though. Maybe in the future......
Stuff goes missing all the while around here, often never to be seen again! There's only the two of us and I know I 'never' mislay anything........figure that out!
I wonder if you'll get finished by the end of the next episode? All the same, I always enjoy your vlogs, keep 'em coming.
yes, it's a total mystery where stuff goes, got to get it finished soon or we'll be missing out on camping time!
I had the exact same problem s as you have had but it is worth it keep going
Yes, it needs completing now, hopefully the replacement kit will arrive soon, I can see it has been dispatched from Germany 👍
You know what I was thinking of commenting so I won't bother spelling it out lol
🤔 were you perhaps going to express full confidence in my organisational abilities?
Glad did that job iv of took it to a garage lol
Can't now, past the point of no return 🤣
Hi Alex . With lockdown easing and I am about an hours drive to your house. Do you need a hand with ya brakes. George
Thats a kind offer George. At the moment the issue is more getting the time to finish it (and not throwing away the parts) between work, callouts & domestic duties I'm only going at it in short random snatches! If I find I'm struggling to get it done I may take a day off work to dedicate to it and take you up on your offer.
Either way it would be good to meet up at some point, if not for brakes then perhaps for a stroll around Rutland or similar :)
@@ttxela ok matey. Cheers from George
Hi Alex 👋 well just us 2 Saying hi and thanks again for sharing this video update 👍 we all done that before even had surch bin then 4/6 week later they turn up out of the blue 🤔🤔 bet the wife move them for safe keeping 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Now that is entirely possible - but of course she denies any involvement in the plot 🧐
