  • We showed you a glimpse of Precision's Manufacturing's Eliminator 535 Tree Puller last fall, but finally we're putting it to use! As phase two of our Lake Hillside Project, we're clearing trees along a path from the field to the lake. We're aiming to find just how big of trees this thing can uproot, and for those that it can't, it still has some tricks up its sleeve to get those trees out of the ground.

Nice attachment. Make sure when “pushing” the jaws are either all the way closed or that the teeth are clamped on the tree. If it’s not closed on the tree tightly you can bend the cylinder.

Just got a versa bracket from these guys, I had some issues with the shipper but it was totally on me, I didn't read all of the details on there website. When all said and done it didn't matter, I was ready to complain about good works tractors and say f them but after contacting their costumer service department honestly I would order from them again as soon as I need something that they carry. I couldn't be more satisfied. Great group of folks up there in Michigan, thank you for everything. 5 start all the way.

Watching this is making me want to get a compact track loader. Using this sort of attachment on a larger-frame compact tractor can end up making the the loader arms flex/twist from some of the the side loads if the tree isn't cleanly lined up in the center of the jaws/center of loader lift (in addition to being much more limited in lifting/curl capacity). The reduced visibility of a tractor obviously making a good line up & grab a bit harder as well.
Still I've found they work well for removing fence posts, smaller trees and bushes even with the loader on my Kubota L3560. ....would still like to try one on the 3pt using a hydraulic top link though.
....and am very glad I got the one I did a few years ago seeing at it looks like it now costs ~1.5x what I paid then ...which is just crazy (even if understandable).

Looks like your making great fun progress... I've been pulling up those large climbing vines by the roots and just letting them tops die out prior to pulling down, just two two many rhino canopy saves last year. Make sure the larger trees you pull out are completely on the ground afterwards. Two weekends ago a dead leaning pine tree came down slamming onto my rops which was in the rearwards position, it lifted the front of the tractor with grapple a few inches off the ground. Have the pics on my phone to share. Anyhow take care and be safe out there.

Great video on a super multi use attachment. You def learned a lot thru the day using it. Pro tip……. Always push down hill with the machine if you can and let gravity help with the extraction. It will work much better by being able to utilize the full weight of the machine plus the added gravity effect moving Dow hill. Enjoy the puller you will find a 1,000 uses for it👍🔥

Great attachment. My only criticism is that the saw feature on the right side seems to be a waste. If you have to cut the tree, it strikes me that it would be quicker to hop out of the skid steer and grab a chain saw.

Will be a lot slower going with my chainsaw and Stump grinder on my B7610 but it's what I have so it's the best tool for the job for me. Still want to get a Stump bucket for my 1025r if i can make it down to you or if you get something worked out for shipping to Canada.😁 Great video as always.

My dislike of vines is hard to overstate. Doesn't matter if they're grape, honey suckle, wait-a- minutes, cow itch, or poison Ivey. They always make tree work 2-3 times harder and at least 3 times as dangerous.
Speaking of danger, how stable was the machine when you had the trees up vertical and were moving around with them? Any side to side tippiness? How about forward or backward?
I was impressed by how easily the machine seemed to handle the big trees, though.

Got to watch if you're working with dead trees. Sometimes, you will break them off 20, 30, 40, or more feet up off the ground. I don't know how much that cab could take with a thousand pounds of tree dropping from high up above you. Does look like fun. Be careful; don't kill yourself.

  • @greenwoodsbushhogging6704

Try digging and rocking it from both ways while lifting up on the larger ones. Just got to watch what the top of the tree is doing. Widow makers ain't fun, even with a cab. Maybe invest in the poly door and roof protection if you plan to do this stuff fairly often. Not saying you need the entire forestry protection, but a big enough limb will spear straight through the roof. Nobody wants to see you all jacked up in the hospital man, that ain't good content.

So it’s a stump bucket with a claw. Claw and brute up force only worked on small saplings. Almost $5k for this seems like a lot. But skid steer guys got money and this is marketed towards them

    • @thetractorden6189
      @thetractorden6189 Před 2 lety

No disrespect here but proper technique makes all of the difference.
This attachment is so much more capable than what this video demonstrated.
Picked up a Danuser Intimidator this weekend to replace my crappy Titan tree/post puller.
I am NOT a Titan Attachments fan!!! I feel as if their implements are imported garbage. The tree puller from them is not built half as nice as this unit but I was destroying trees with it. So this puller has so much more potential that’s not there in this video.
With the Titan POS I was yanking 9”-12” trees 50’-75’ tall clean out of the ground with proper technique. If it could do it, this model definitely can.
By the way, I never start at the base of the tree. I grab it 6’-8’ off the ground and Rock it from front to back first before even adding upward thrusts.

I have not used them on my bx23s.
I do not recommend the Titan Attachments manufacturer but I have used it on the SSV65 and the Svl95. Of course the 95 is much more capable.
Once I got the hang of it, the 95 was ripping 9”-12” trees from the ground. I found it easier to just pull the tree then try to cut it down with the chainsaw.
Yesterday I unloaded the Danuser Intimidator from the back of my truck with the ssv65. Removed the stump that had plagued us for 15 years. I had even drilled holes in it and burnt up the drill. And it was a Makita HD made for boring. Didn’t even get 1/4 the tree drilled.
Took some coaxing but I finally removed the stump. It’s original diameter was over 24”. And it had 3 roots at least that were 6”-8” in diameter. They came out 4’ long.
This was a massive stump that dozens of vehicles have high centered on and was not rotting anytime soon.
So yes I have been happy with what I have used mine for.
Of all of the Titan Attachments crap that I purchased, the tree and stump puller outshined all the rest put together. Although it did mangle every T-post that came out of the ground. I’m just
