@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Your good people there, we live in Oregon and almost lost the ranch due to all the fires. It took all the neighbors and good people like yourself working together to save many homes although many were lost. It's been sad but hope and good neighborly people always pull through. We love your videos here and have seen you develop such a great channel from the beginning. 👍

Josh - I have a Danuser Intimidator for my Kubota SVL75-2 - absolutely love it - pull invasive mid size trees out of fields roots and all, shake dirt off and pile to burn. Worth every penny !! (When you pull those smaller and mid size trees out, go ahead and shake the dirt off more just tilt up and down quickly a few times - it will fill most of hole back in and leave less dirt when burning)

Great idea charging your neighbor fuel only. . that's kinda what I do when I am not sure what to charge. Cheap equipment I charge locals and home town is $35-55 per hour.(that generous when include break downs and down time). Then with more pricy equipment I go up from there.

I bought a smaller version tree puller and use it on my Yanmar YT359. Works best when fully engaged into tree and up about 3-4 feet for 8 inch and bigger trees. Pull forward slowly while curling down and pushing down, then back the opposite way reversing technique. When loosened enough grab at base all the way into teeth and out she comes. I also have a 3 point to quick hitch adapter on back that works to if you don't want to torque your front end loader. They're awesome!!!

I've always thought the funnest way to remove a tree stump is using semtex. Though the neighbors can be a bit salty if you do it that way so it's not always the most practical. This seems to be a pretty practical tool for those situations when semtex isn't the answer...

If yes, then of course you can, keep in mind the loader lifting capacity, because a compact or even a small utility tractor will quickly disappoint when you try to actually pull a tree up with it. You should already know all that if you own a tractor tho.

You'd have to dig for 3 days to burry this mess...chip it up...heck yeah....but chipper rental for something like this would cost about $1000 for 2-3 days....burn it..spread the ashes and dirt left behind...feeds the soil and cleans up the mess in 2 days at no cost. Wood chips are very acidic and take about 3 years to rot enough to start growing pasture...ask me how I know lol
