4:15 Teeto counters are generally spell castings champs that can eaither burst Teemo, or poke and not get punished back.
- Malphite : is probably the easiest and strongest counter. You play comet+scorch, all you have to do is wait for your shield passive, walk up, Q teemo, back off. Rinse and repeat. Lv6 onwards whenever Teemo's below40% hp and oyu have ult, you have kill pressure.
- Jayce : Stomps Teemo at all points in the game if played properly.
- Quinn : has range aswell, and is kinda an assassin; there are ways for Teemo to win that (Blind and Shrooms), but she will outrade you most often, then roam and kill your team, having more early impact than a measly Teeto
- Ability spamming tanks that have good innate sustain and use spells tend to be fine : Maokai, Mundo, etc.
Not in toplane : pretty much all mages destroy Teemo. I used to be a teeto otp a few years ago, and sometimes I would get counterpicked Annie top, and it was an unplayable matchup. Same for Cassio top.
Also about this game, in theory the Teeto vs Riven matchup is quite Riven favoured

I think the biggest counter to teemo is sett, his healing removes the posibility for teemo to kill with shroom or toxic dart, literały u lose everytime u cant ignite him

Teemo can be late game with full ap builds and DH, but at the cost of early
Or you can go either on hit or tank. Both work very well and allow him to be useful late

Tenmo is so versatile late game that as long as your team isnt AP heavy- he works fantastic at tilting and grinding down enemies, split pushing and realistically shutting down the 1shot potential of a lot of top tier picks. (if he survives the initial burst) This seasons meta appears assassin dominated thus far to overcompensate for the tank meta. Tenmo's post lane phase rat style of zoning objectives with shrooms (that hurt high mobility squishies since everybody has 10000 dashes and like 1.5-2.5k health late game now) a 400 damage shroom or three hurt, and in a team fight thats happening to everyone, in river where you can play around them. to the tune of what looks to be almost a karthus ult every team fight if they dont respect the shrooms/build MR. hes probably more viable for a high elo pick than ive seen him in years.

The thing that has always rubbed me the wrong way with Teemo and Shaco is how their deployables have stealth.
Like you either have to actively spend money(pink wards) to reveal them, or you have to have sweeper.
