amazing idea
we are supposed to put up a video now? Oh boy the pressure is on, this is becoming a class?
@@Jbhyers123 Haha! Probably the best thing anyone can do to get better is play in front of people. I guess letting people see a video performance is the next best thing.

Well coincidentally enough, I was messing around with some of your other background Dead tracks when I got the notification you posted this. So.....I decided to try it out. I'm only about a minute or two in, but really nice so far. I love the extended intro. Back to playing now, but I will post more later. ;)
Thanks, glad you like it.
Hey thanks Jeff - you do a rad thing. Glad I found your page. Exactly what I needed.

Awesome thank you!
No prob Mark!
Overall this is great. As I’m playing and singing along with it, I’m noticing some spots where things come in a bar too soon (I’m jumping back and forth between this and the “Sunshine Daydream” version for comparison). So I’m counting “one two three four, two two three four, three two three four, four two three four,” and for example the harmonized guitar riff at the beginning comes in on a three instead of a one, and this happens a couple of other spots as well. Maybe it’s just my issue, but it makes it hard to follow along and know where I am in the midst of everything else. Just wanted to offer that up. I know you put a ton of work into this, so I don’t want it to sound like I’m shitting on it, but it adds a bit of an extra challenge.
I think I got goofed on a few changes as well. No biggie, fun to play with anyhow, but a few issues.
Nice video jeff
Thanks!
Just discovered your channel,. really great chancel that fits my musical universe well! Backing track request - Cream Puff War. Thanks again, I am learning from your content, keep up the great work!
No prob glad the content is helpful. Cream Puff War, that's a good one! A deep dive.
Wow Jeff you are the man. What era Birdsong is this, if you could put it in such a bag?
Often, I just do my own thing with these...but this one is definitely trying to resemble the Veneta 72 show.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar Thanks! Was just curious!
Beautiful.....can't wait for reba....any possibility of a weekapaug groove or wolfmans brother? These segue jam trax are where its at
Wolfmans Brother for sure! One of my favorite studio tracks by them.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar most definitely.....one of the grooviest tracks ever layed
Thanks so much Jeff, your backing tracks have been immensely helpful in practicing my mixolydian chops. On another note, how did you get the slight od sound on the lead riff here? I'm really curious about your gear setup, it sounds fantastic
I just put this up last week, RIG RUNDOWN: how i get my sound: czcams.com/video/UDBsd7m5hbE/video.html
Amazing work as always, Jeff! I will definitely participate in the Solo Challenge. Do you have any other tracks that you plan to rework for a later release?
Thanks Jeremy! I do actually. I'm in the middle of redoing Morning Dew and at some point Franklin's Tower that'll be part of Help/Slipknot/Franklins. Oh and Reba if you're into Phish.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar Fantastic, I can't wait for them!
Late '73 vibe I think...EDIT: I saw you said Veneta below, this one seems more laid back than that but maybe I am wrong...
Wow! Awesome job Jeff!! Really strange timing , as I was about to record Birdsong myself. Just put out a Dark Star Suite yesterday. Stay safe and well Jeff! - czcams.com/video/gEjiamOeg4E/video.html
Thanks! Be well!
