For government hospitals, Usually residents earn SG 21 as they are holding the position of Medical Officer III plus the bonuses. Medical Officer IV sometimes for the Chief Resident and Assistant Chief Resident SG 23 if I’m not mistaken.
tama. sg 21 is 59k(wala pa tax deduction dito) plus benefits . so take home m monthly is approx 70-80k
But as of now! sobrang baba ng philhealth! so take home mo na lang is 40-50 k na lang 😭😭😭

I closed and availed my services, first, TSA medical examiner, Railroad station., Correction Medical Officer 3 times , Indian reservation 6 times, They must have liked me, gave me the Chairmanship of Medicine for the last 6 years.

I really wanted to be a doctor kaso hindi kaya financially eh. 1 year nalang and mag ka college na ako. I decided na nursing ang kunin ko para atleast kahit hindi ako mag dodoctor eh nasa hospital pa rin hahahaha.

Hi doc, how about doing a general practice while working as a resident, is it possible?
I dont think thats allowed
As far as I know the plantilla for MO3s and MO4s in a DOH retained hospital in the province offers roughly the same monthly salary as DOH retained hospitals in the NCR which is around 40-60k. But the philhealth share of some doctors in the provinces can sometimes be higher from what I've heard.
depends on the hospital policies on how they distribute too, and to whom they distribute, admin level etc
@@DocRome some hospitals before would divide the the salary meant for 1 doctor for 2to3 residents but in the past 2to3yrs that practice seemed to have decreased/stopped as they added more plantillas (but I'm speaking only for my province).

Damn i really want to be a surgeon but i got so disappointed after hearing this. 15 years for this you’re like 33 years old when your done. I guess being a pilot is a much better choice 6-7 years your starting salary is 60-90k. I guess you’re right you shouldn’t do it for the salary cause you’ll be so disappointed it’s not worth it but do it cause it’s your dream.
Do you guys in phillipenes pay astronomic prices for residency? In indonesia we pay, and barely get any money?(only if we help during covid we get) :(

Im not entirely sure about monthly, but depends on what you are doing, clinics, duty, moonlight, govt doc etc, but opportunities are endless!😊
