Coperni creates spray-on dress for model Bella Hadid |

- Parisian fashion brand Coperni used Fabrican’s sprayable, liquid fibre to spray a dress onto model Bella Hadid during its Spring Summer 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week.
For the show’s closing look, Hadid approached a lit platform surrounded by a team of people holding spray guns, where she stood for 15 minutes while a white substance was sprayed onto her body to form the outline of a dress.

Romans literally created statues of both naked women and men, and there were a lot of groups in Europe that wore barely any clothes at all, but did so because of the hot temperatures most of them had and still have to endure. And this is about technology, the dress actually became a dress. She's not even naked now.

I think this is a great step forward in the scientific area. Im sure if we all crack our heads hard enough there's plenty of applications this can be used for. Like patching up clothing should there be a tear when your out, maybe spray on plaster? If the material is cheaper and environmentally friendly it can replace current clothings? These are just at the top of my head and im not a really bright guy. Instead of just looking at the negatives saying ooooh this is indecent, not appropriate for the current fashion lets look at the bright side of things like how this can be used to help each other and our mother earth. Plus come on guys the world is depressing and dark enough a little light in the darkness can help lift us alittle.

The Fabrican spay is nothing new. It has been invented 2007 by Dr Manel Torres and it has multidisciplinary application. It‘s only first time that had been shown during fashion week and on a famous model.
