I'm kinda geeking out over this video Ram Rebel 2500 vs the Ram Power Wagon. If I had the money I get both.
For a shallow truck purchaser looks is important, If a truck purchaser is interested in a Power Wagon what is important is how well they compare not on highway but Off Road on technical trails.
Correct me if I’m wrong but the rebel paired with the hemi has a much higher payload and has an option for wench
Thus making it a power wagon with a higher payload minus the sway bar disconnect?
The Ram Power Wagon is a better work truck than Ram Rebel, but Ram Rebel is more muscular than the Ram Power Wagon
its funny how leather is no longer actual leather in modern cars, yet the price mark up to move up the trims are still the same, u dont get any discounts on the premium trims even tho you are getting fake leather. very interesting, and the fact that there is no pushback from the consumer is even more interesting.
I love both of them to be honest! They both look awesome!
Insane cars Ben !! 🖤🖤
I bought a 2023 Power wagon level 3 recently and what a truck!
No diesel is a no deal for me. Rebel all day.
Good video. I'd like to see a comparison between a low optioned tradesman and what the extra thirty grand buys you with a rebel or pw
I was thinking about getting a 2024 PW, but hearing friends and coworkers complain about Hemi issues, I'm not too sure. I guess if I opt for an extended warranty I should be good
Just curious what were the issues they were complaining about? I know the 5.7 has a lot of issues but the 6.4 is fairly stout.
@@The_Dave_1776lifters. It’s AWAYS lifter complaints, even though the failure rate is extremely low. Not trying to say it’s not an issue, it is but when you dig into it, a lot of times there are people related reasons on why they failed. All my 6.4s have been solid.
I just got my new 2024 2500 Rebel, however I don't have the same interior as the one in the review. Is there different interior packages?
Ben, you should do a comparison with Ram Rebel 2500 diesel and the Ford Tremor F250 diesel.
I know the rated payload is less for the Power Wagon, but I've seen it handle 2k lbs in the bed (not counting the driver) and still had like an inch before the bump stops were touched. So if you really needed to put some heavier stuff in the back, you'd still be in the clear. Just don't make a habit of it. Either way, great video as always.
I once loaded up a 2500 until the bump stops. It was a terrible ride. I would not suggest haha
Bro most of these would be mall crawler trucks😂used for going to starbux
My f 150 long bed. 2 whl Dr super cab-.. has 3000 payload.
Why in tf would Ram make these both lol? Its the same damn truck virtually
Anyone know what the white flashing on the gauge cluster is for? Happened the whole time during the driving.
I used to have to moose mirrors…. I think I liked those better than the new ones. The new ones have a wierd cut off from the wide and fle and the regular. It’s almost disorienting…. But especially when lane changing or reversing
What is the Vendor Painted Cargo Box?
It was a good comparison from the point that it's two identical trucks with opposing drivetrain specs. One was specked out to be a work truck (rebel) the other for off-roading (power wagon). Having said that I think making a off road video comparing the power wagon to the wrangler 392 or making a video of the rebel 2500 vs Ford or Chevy or GMC work trucks would be more appropriate since that would be comparing apples to apples. Just my opinion.
So for a combination truck to be used as a daily driver, used as a 3/4 ton for towing and hauling, as well as off roading and mpg and fit a family of 5. Which would be better? Thanks
Rebel
Whats up with the mustache grill? 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
proudly made in mexico
Respect
Ben-Where would you rank the TRD Pro Tundra against these?
like a pitbull vs a poodle RAM wins
It’s a half ton, but I like it more than the rebel
@@wdwilson6321super fan are we? TRD wins easily
Awesome truck!! Ill stick with my 23 Nissan Titan pro-4x!!
Rebel 😎
front and rear lockers
I can buy 2 small houses in a cheap area for the price of one of these trucks. Damn
That payload is less than on a light duty, midsize truck. To call these a '2500' or 'heavy duty' is just false advertising.
Wow I hadn't noticed that, you're 100% correct.
Two monsters like these ……and a Ford Maverick can carry more…….what a shame….
Maverick tow capacity and payload below these 2. Both of these trucks have more of an offroad suspension meaning numbers decrease just like the ford raptor. Compared to a regular f150. Off road suspension is not meant for towing.
Grills are hideous too
My half ton silverado has more payload.
May as well buy a frontier for this terrible payload
If only the front ends weren't so damn ugly! Lol. Id take the power wagon
