Chivalry 2: The Best Weapon - Longsword Multiplayer Gameplay

In todays chivalry 2 multiplayer gameplay I am using the longsword the best weapon for competitive play in chivalry 2. The longsword is so good because the light stab lets you break opponents drags and feints. This game is from the medieval fighting league a competitive chivalry 2 match.

Longsword for the Battlefield just feels too small for me. You should know what my pick is by now. I’m going with Greatsword. Though, I do see this Longsword from Lockwood that I really want in the future.

i like the longsword alot (one of my favorites) but i noticed i do better with the greatsword specially when in group fights. i can kinda maneuver around and get my stabs in with longsword in group fights but im more consistent with downing/killing people with the greatsword. i think its just the extra reach that lets me clip people and helps me with my combos

as you said the longsword does really well when the teams are balalnced, but if your in pubs and your team is getting rolled it can be unusable lol

lol i like playing ambusher with the dagger mainly (sometimes short sword or hatchet) so when i get baited into a group fight, i try to run away and hit em from the back. but man... whenever i do F up and end up on the front line.... its just fkn brutal 🤣

Yeah that gate not opening started with Montcrux update. Drives me crazy

LOL I was wondering the same thing about that gate. I think the ramp has to move into the next alley before the “forward spawn” is engaged and then the gate is open .. but at that point it’s kinda useless since you should be spawning inside the walls anyway

@@BigWaima0473 targeting is easier and so is countering, yea your peripheral vision is gone but that forces you to play a little safer and smarter in a sense
It takes practise but it has improved my gameplay going back to 1st after a long break
