Noels annual Christmas Presents - these were always a highlight of Christmas Day Television. Unfortunately they were stopped around 99 and later moved to Sky which for some reason were not as special.
You don't see very much of Chris De Burgh these days. Cannot remember that last time I saw him on TV. Guess he's retired and living very comfortably with his Christmas song royalty millions!
This was the best programme on xmas day by the BBC. Far better than most of the other rubbish that is put out. Just look at what they put out this year. Yes at 7pm it's Blankety Blank. are the beeb now into flogging dead horses? Worst channel of all this year was ITV1. The xmas day schedule look like an ordinary day of the week. They did nothing to make xmas day any different.
This many years ago was aired on BBC1 on Xmas day. I use to look forward to it. Many a time it brought tears to my eyes. Then it was gone. Did the BBC sell it to sky? Anyone? Was it becoming too expensive to produce? Was it sold so the BBC could maintain their extroidinate salaries? I have always wondered what percentage of BBC employees earn over 50K. My guess is it's over 95%.
back when tv was worth watching
Take me baaaack! I'd give anything! :'(
