The event took place on July 20, 2019 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao won the fight by split decision and, at 40 years old, became the oldest welterweight to win a major world title in boxing history.

Age still matters prime pac will make this a walk in the park. Thurman landed more punches than this past prime Pac. I only give Thurman a clear 7 and 9 rounds, Pacquiao dominates the fight. A Unanimous victory but the judges are still judging Pacquiao's age whenever Pacquiao goes to the rope they automatically give it to Thurman even tho he didnt land a good combination.

I just watched the whole fight again and really observed it and it was a very entertaining fight. Manny was game the whole fight. Thurman brought it as well. It just seem like Thurman punches didnt have no thump to it like when he fought Porter and Garcia. Either way Pac is a amazing fighter and always comes to fight. Thurman was so conscious of Manny's fast counters that's why he's not putting more puffs in his punches but focusing more on precision...just like Floyd do. The problem is Floyd occasionally is willing to put power in his punches to show Manny who is the boss. Thurman seems to give too much respect on Pacquiao's counters too much he's afraid to try throw some big punches.

The thing is manny never seriously stare you at any face to face till you're at actual ring with him... By that it would scare the hell out of any opponent since they never saw that manny's look before, psychologically their mind can't adjust that "fear" in an instant. Unlike any trashtalker guy, you might felt intimidated at first but not in an actual fight, since you already mentally adjusted for it.
