I think their strategy is not really getting a deal. The xposure is their main objective bc even without the help it will really bloom.

At this point, if you have a decent product, all you have to do is just get booked for shark tank.
It's a double edged sword.
In this case, the product was genuinely unique and original and hence sharks even praised it.
But if your product has nothing new, sharks might just straight up insult it on national TV and it might backfire.

The show mostly gives them a temporary boost in sales even the bad pr ones, but it doesn't change management and their ability to meet those sales like the ones who come on for help from a sharks. Those guys are in over their heads and just have a good idea with zero execution skills.

the shirt company who makes these polos will go bankrupt. Nobody will really need to replace the shirt or buy more, resorting in less and less sells and eventually resorting in full closure of the company.

I would love for companies to adapt this material for there uniform shirts. Companies usually only distribute 2-3 shirts. After that you must purchase. This will be a great idea for security guards, super markets,etc....
You realize you can just buy the waterproof spray and put it on whatever shirt you want right? These dudes are taking regular shirts, putting a couple cents worth of waterproofing on it, and then selling it for 100x more 💀

One issue I would have with these shirts is that if I’m outside on a sunny day and I get sweaty, the shirt won’t absorb any of it so it’ll be completely my body’s problem to deal with it. Sure the shirt will stay cleaner but my body will suffer a bit
