Caddy used to have a rating system slaughter a handgun and salvage a Star Trek phaser and slauvage when he shoots the game with the phaser then shoots it back down with the gun. If the game is good he salvage the game if it’s bad he slaughtered it if it’s in between he salvage and slaughter it
I always felt that the Slauvage was worse than the regular slaughter, because it gives the game that momentary hope that it'll be salvaged, only to tear it away.
I believe that was when he was talking about just one game (or topic) specifically. I enjoy his variety now.

Okay, you're on the Caddy train now. And you saw him talk about Rayman. Now you gotta do his videos on the first two games. Here, you're even talking about them here, so I kinda just wanna share.
FYI, these were prior to his channel rebranding, so there are elementals to his comedy and presentation that's a little less refined.
And yes, the first game is borderline impossible.
Caddy is genuinely one of my favorite CZcamsrs of all time. I found his channel over Covid and there are very few people on the internet that have made me laugh as hard as he has. He’s also such a down to earth dude. Always talking about how much he loves his daughters like the proud stepdad he is. Also that’s his dog Stan. He is best boy

Honestly happy you are finally getting to some of Caddy's content. Dude has been making videos for literal years now, and he's come a long way over the years. His most recent stuff is top quality imo. They can be long watches, but they are choke full of quality, jokes, superb editing, and a style that is all his own. Highly recommend his content in the future. Some of his other videos I recommend are, his The Illegal World of Crash Bandicoot Bootlegs for the lengths he'll go for his videos sometimes. His Useless World of PS1 Accessories for purely some of the historical stuff he found, and The Rip-Off World of Crash Bandicoot Merchandise, for how much he spent on some of the stuff and to see how much he truly does love that Orange Marsupial.

My recommendation for Caddy's longest videos would be to watch it in parts. Two hour video? Watch a half hour at a time four times. :)

I've worked at Walmart, specifically in Electronics. They have a specific way of organizing their games, and it's not by shoving terrible kid games on the bottom shelves, but the specific way it's organized does make it seem that way. The top two or three shelves in the case on the furthest left are new releases, unusually organized by how decently they came out. Most of the rest of it is in alphabetical order from top to bottom, left to right. The bottom one or two shelves on the furthest right case are usually delegated to clearance, in other words: games that sat in the store so long that the store is willing to take a loss on them just to get rid of them. Which usually ends up being the shovelware baby game garbage that most parents in the modern day were smart enough not to buy. Which is why it often seems like those games are deliberately stocked where little kids will see them and throw a tantrum.

19:05 It was always at the rental store because it was exclusive, that Clayfighter game just like that Beast Wars:Transmetals fighting game on N64 were Blockbuster rental exclusives.
Which is what makes actual copies rare cause those games were mostly finally sold to customers during the final days of Blockbuster when they had their going out of business clearance sales selling off everything in the store.

When I was a kid I didn't really play console games like those (even tho I had a PS2), my gaming childhood was on the computer. Games like Purble Place and Webkinz were my jam and as I got older I started playing game like CoolMathGames and Poptropica, I miss those game dearly and still play some of the games that are still up as an "adult"

I think this is the first time I've seen them react to Caddicarus, also I JUST ordered the N64 version of Resident Evil 2 cause I NEVER tried it, just played the PS1 and even the remake which I absolutely love and is now my top favorite RE game.

Hey guys, if you do wanna replay the first Rayman game and have it be actually a fair challenge rather than impossible and infuriating- I highly recommend Rayman Redemption. It is a fanmade remake of the first game, done in the same style as the original game but just much better. I can confidently say that fangame far surpassed the original. Again- highly recommend it.

in defense of a few games I grew up with (the bratz ps2 gamethey showed for example) girls games were hard to come by back in the day, Barbie, Bratz, and a handful of the Imagine franchise were some of the best things we had that were directly targeted towards us.

39:29 when it comes to Rayman 2 first release the N64 was the number one choice to play well the PlayStation 1 removed content in the total of lums we're completely different. PlayStation 1 collects 800 and you get to play a beta version of Rayman 2 if you beat the game. Well the N64 you have to collect 1,000. Most other copies like the PC, DS, and 3DS were also the N64 version. The 3DS copy has a glitch that you can't collect the last 1000 so the game's so you can never get 100% complete. In the PlayStation 2 version is the N64 copy but with extra powers more as well extra bosses well you have a hub island to run around instead of being in the void selecting a portal level.
