I'm a fan of the gold leaf's had them on one of my ALP's for awhile, I still sort of like the stock click. I don't have any issues removing them if you have the wrench to remove and install them, its about 5 bucks, Arcade Push button Wrench Tool Dual purpose for arcade assembly. I also wouldn't use gold leaf's on the nudge, they are too sensitive for me on the nudge. I swear my 1.1 and 1.2 ALP's used wood screws is your og ALP a launch edition?
They ended up coming out without too much fuss, but still make me grumble. I haven't had trouble with them on my nudge, but I can definitely see how that could be a problem. They are pretty touchy. I believe my ALP came from Sam's, if I recall.
Yes, it's definitely an improvement and I don't regret the purchase. It works very well for the stock tables. For VPX, it requires some work to get the audio right on some tables, but worth the effort IMHO. Don't have it working with FX3 yet, but I've read about a method that works.
