Vance and Hines have a bracket for sport glides, places the bracket in the same position. Otherwise, your pipe manufacturer should have a sport glide fitment.
That's awesome. I am trying to recall whether my Comp-S exhaust that came with my 2020 FXLRS had that bracket with it or not. I get the feeling it didn't, but I also didn't look around more on the website-just ordered the pipe straight from the dealer. Either the way, the exhaust is installed now and ready to rip (video on that coming soon, of course!).
Nice overview, wonder if these bags and system would work with other softails? I have a 21' Slim and some mods to rear lights and license plate would be needed. Nice ST!
You know, I talked to my dealer before I went this route and tried to do these bags on my 2020 FXLRS and, while it can be done, it's pretty pricey. Close to $3K, I believe. But that would definitely be a question your dealer could answer for you on these. Thanks for the comment!
I think the bags look a little goofy… Like too small or too high up. The stock bike should be a two into one exhaust with deeper bags or the bags installed a little lower
Just picked up an el Diablo and had no clue how to remove the bags haha glad I saw this video
Nice! That’s the softail to get!
100% agree!

I made my own bag support out of a piece of 1 1/2 inch flat iron scrap. I did have to spend $2.08 for black rattle can paint.

My heritage has the same saddlebag support arm. Switched to a S&S 2-1 pipe and there was a replacement bracket supplied.
Very nice! Good information for everyone to have!

I wonder if that bag will fit on the low rider s 🤔
They do, but if I recall, it's a little costly to get them added.
Good info. Thanks.
My right side bag vibrates little when on freeway. Is this normal?
I think mine does now as well.
What is the model of your seat cushion please
