Do you also find interesting seashells?
Zero chance of being more adorable than these two. Glad to share the planet with such wonderful beings.
Aww thank you so much Tony! đ„°
@@NorthernMudlarks The world would be a much nicer place in which to live if it were populated with more people like the two of you lovely ladies. I thoroughly enjoyed our beach larking adventure. Much love to y'all from North Carolina USA. Take care.
Seeing you two pick up various smooth rounded rocks reminded me that American Indians in the Southwest US have a tradition of using polishing stones to smooth their pottery. They have not used glazes historically, but they do have a custom of using a smooth, round hard rock to polish ceramics in the greenware stage (dry or leather hard). It does make beautiful ceramics, even if it is time consuming. Polishing stones are even passed down the family line.
I'm so glad mentioned this! It's an interesting & important cultural point that probably isn't very well-known outside the southwest.
Love watching you no matter if it's at the ocean or at a dump ,just wish I was there with you two amazing Ladies.
I was happy to see that you did not disclose the location or name of the beach. I think itâs really important -especially because you have so many followers. I can certainly see why beachcombers like to follow you. You are both adorable! And itâs fun to see you get so excited. People go to beaches to enjoy the peace and quiet and serenity (as well as to collect treasures). Once you share the name and location of a beach it becomes totally overrun and that sense of peace has been taken away from those that live locally.
Gail and Alex, you always bring me a lot of joy with your treasure gathering expeditions! Lovely finds for you both to work with.
Lovely sea glass finds, well done ladies! Myself and my little girl love sea glass hunting, hoping when she's older we will still have this connection as you both do đ
Not only did you find lots of beautiful glass but the sea pottery was awesome!
That brick "pillow" was AMAZING! Love beachcombing myself, I do it on all my seaside travels, unfortunately none this year, none since 2019 đ
Which is why coming along with you is extra lovely, as I'm stuck in the city a hot summer night, hoping for a little rain so the wild blueberries dont dry out before they mature.
Have you ladies ever tried foraging for berries, herbs and mushrooms? I bet with your trained eyes you'd be exellent!
I love sea pottery toođ
Hello loverly ladies! You might consider investing in a collapsible wagon. Then, if you found more of those cool brick pieces, you could get it home and into the garden. They would make very fun stepping stones!
Eltham in England is an historic centre for potteries. Brilliant pieces of sea pottery and glass. Your videos take me to a zen place that I always feel am there walking alongside you both through seeing what you do. As an older archaeologist and artist, I appreciate watching your beautiful films. The landscapes, seascapes and places you visit are food for the soul.
Another fun lark! And I could hear you perfectlyâŠI love going to the shoreline with you. My favorite though I love every adventure with you two.đđđŹ
You two harmonize when you say hello, itâs adorable!
Your underwater scenes are so refreshing. Thank you for sharingâŠyour new marbles, amazing, your pottery pieces beyond words so nice⊠have an amazing week ladies đčđč
I collect sea glass here in the southern US. I love the colors and the smooth feel. I wear an aqua heart sea glass pendant my daughter gave me. Lovely finds!
I'm also in the south, where do you find sea glass in these parts?!
@@chelseaphillips9048. I have found that many seaglass hunters will never say where they are finding it. If they do say itâs usually a lie. I used to go to the beaches that people said they got loads of seaglass from only to find nothing or just trash glass. Now I just go exploring beaches by myself until I find one. The south doesnât have very many beaches with seaglass though. I found one piece in The panhandle at a little beach in June george state park Florida and a few pieces on the dike in Texas city, TX but lots around the great lakes. The US is not that great for glass. Fun when you do find it though. Good luck to you!!
Such a delight! Wonderful finds. I had a beach day yesterday. Wonderful but the only treasures were my grandchildren playing in the waves of the Atlantic. So many collect glass here now that it really is next to impossible to find. We walk along dropping bits from my collection to give our grands the joy of "finding" glass.
Wow! What a great video! I could hear you just fine, and when Alex asked if she should take that giant piece of glass that was a cod marble bottle, I was yelling at the screen- Yes! Take it, take it!
I love sea glass! Some of the pieces of pottery are just beautiful ! Iâd love to have a jar full of it!
So many wonderful treasures! Beautiful glass and pottery but my favorite are the stones, the agates , carnelian, the cute little stones with a happy faceđ Thank you Ladies for sharing!!
Donât think Iâve ever told youâŠ..I just love the tune collection you play in your videos! â€ïž great finds in this video as usualâŠâŠâŠstay safe out there! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
I've fallen in love with sea pottery now 100%...thank you for sharing your love and appreciation of these treasures! Can't wait to go down to the beach and see what I can find next time! â€đđŒ
I'm awaiting the next wonderful crafting!!! Shared you again! I have to getting so excited. The Red and clear Sea glass looks like mini Steak lol
Thank you so much for sharing your search for beauty and inspiration for your gorgeous jewelry. You each have gentle and beautiful voices that are comforting and calming.
Some lovely patterns in the sea pottery and a lovely lot of sea glass gems. Can't wait to see what you do with some of those finds. The big bead is amazing too and I love all the rocks and think the one with the face on should go in the window of wonders. Keep the videos coming and with the beautiful music you put on them, so relaxing and a bit mystic. Love to you both.
My favorite Scottish Magpies! So lovely and silly!!
That piece of brick work! OMG!! THAT was an amazing piece!!
What is really impressive is these girls know exactly what to look for, what to take and they have amazing knowledge behind everything. We can all learn from their experience. They are the best treasure hunting team ever.
Aw, thank you! xx
Hello Beauties, from sea glass, beads, milk glass, marbles, to pottery and wishing stones, it's really hard to decide what I like best. Beachcombing and Mudlarking is the most fun. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
Loved all the sea pottery. The bead I believe is from a hair tie from the 1960s or 70s. There would be two beads on each hair tie and you twisted them around your piggy tails or pony tail.
Thank you for a lovely time, feel as if, I have spent the day, by the sea, I live in the country, and a day with you at the beach! Robbie Bowers
You ladies did A great job. still could hear you over the wind. thanks again.
Just noticed you cruised through 75k subscribers!!!!! Well done you two!!!! Bet youâll be over 100 at Christmas!!!!
I love going to Lake Erie and combing the beach for glass and such. I haven't been there this year but now I want to go
All the piping stems you could make the string curtains we had in the 1960s or with sea glass. Sea glass could be pressed and glued on planter pots. Pam from Texas
My bucket list is to go there and hunt for treasures! Love these ladies!
Good to be back on the beach, lovely watching the waves roll in and the music was beautiful. Thank you for braving that wind and showing your amazing finds. â€ïž
I love, love, love your filming of the waves. Thanks for taking me away! Your choice of music completed my escape.
That was a good but windy day on the beach. Lots of lovely sea glass and is always nice to find pottery. I often find warm shale on the beach here and I liked the little face looking up at Gail. Thank you for sharing and have a great week
I'm jealous in so many ways. Beautiful finds, being with each other.
With all the amazing sea pottery I would love to see you do a mosaic table for your garden.
Thanks for taking us to the beach. It was fun.
I LOVE sea pottery and all the other stunning treasures the ocean keeps for us
Alex @6:06 that piece looks like a slice of lime and would make a beautiful lime slice pendant. Lovely !
Oh, I love the pottery, so well worn more than the sea glass.
The photography and the music are just as lovely as the finds!
Hello Gail and Alex from the US!! I have just discovered your channel and I love it!! Iâm afraid that in less than two weeks I have binge watched all of your videos. Please keep up all the lovely work. I am looking forward to all of your adventures.
Pamela, Welcome to one of thee Best Mudlarking channels there is.
I so prefer the beach larks.
These two ladies have come a long way with their videos. They just keep getting better and better. Wouldnât it be stellar to go about and mudlarknwith Gail and Alex?
Your friend in Almost-Heaven-West-Virginia says hello! And hello Gail and Alex. Some day, my feet will walk those treasure-laden shores.
You're so lucky to find so many pieces of beautiful sea glass!
Two ideas I had while watching. The half moon shaped sea glass would be lovely if you drilled a hole near the bottom and hung a star from it. The sea worn caster would make an ideal weight for wind chimes!
Yaaaay!!! My girls are on!!! How fun!!!! I just love all your finds!! How wonderful! đ„°
You two ladies are so beautiful. I so enjoy your excitement and your show.
Absolutely stunning! Stunning finds, stunning scenery, and stunning women who brighten my days! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Gail and Alex, amazing finds! I'm particularly fond of the cobalt blue sea glass and the blue sea pottery.
What a wonderful film, i loved the wild weather and the beautiful sea foam glass, well all the finds were beautiful. Thank you both for making such a wonderful film.
Hello ladies. Your finds are beautiful. Cant wait to see what some of them become in a craft vid. The pictures of sun and the sea were just lovely and the pics under the water are just amazing. Thanks for the adventure.
Beautiful sea glass! Iâm on the lookout for a hag stone.
I agree. Making the sea glass shiny would ruin it. The frosty look is so pretty. Love all your finds.
I think my favorite thing on Earth is an ocean showing it's power. I love it, can't get enough of it. Thank you both for taking us with you on this adventure. What lovely finds. Sea pottery is so beautiful. Have a lovely week you two. Thanks again!
Hello đGail and Alex Thank you for bringing me along with you guy's it was an Absolutely Beautiful day i Can't wait to see what you Guy's find Next đâșïžđ
So many beautiful sea treasures. Lovely!
Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks! rage! blow!..đš..the things you both do to entertain us, and we are mightily entertained.
Love the seaglass & china/pottery. I collect bits, too. I once made a mosaic of sea glass on glass with black grout. It was like a stained glass window! The marbles were cool too!
The stones are as wonderful as the glass.
Happy hunting.
I recently found out about vintage Chinese pottery sherd trinket boxes - a broken vase or pottery piece set into a metal casing for the lid of a box. Immediately thought of you two and your metal working abilities⊠not for the sea worn pieces though - youâd probably lose the beautiful worn edge. Love seeing your adventures and your projects. Keep it up:)
You ladies had such a lovely day out!! I loved it!! Thank you for taking me along!!
Thanks for coming along xx
The under water shot was really beautiful.
Toujours un vĂ©ritable plaisirđŹđŹAlex Franceđđčđčđ
thank you for all of the amazing adventures, I put your videos on to fall asleep almost every night. thank you for many good night sleeps!
Oh my goodness! Too many wonderful finds to enumerate. The sea pottery has to be my favorite though, they were just as you said, tiny works of art beautifully sea worn. I love them all. The turquoise pieces of sea glass and milk glass were my favorites among the sea glass finds. The small stones and pebbles were beautiful too, and that flat black rock that you thought might be coal was so cool. Another one of them looked like a piece of the candy "Sugar Babies", I don't know if you have that in the U.K., but it was a perfect match. The sea marbles were great finds too. I don't know when you filmed this episode but it sure was weird hearing you talk about being cold. It's been blazingly hot all over the U.S. and I thought most of Europe as well. It made me wish I was there with you all the more. I loved your cinematography, especially the underwater shots. And, lastly, the circling dog was just hysterical and added to the fun of your video. Thanks again for taking us along on an epic adventure. đ
Loving the sea pottery! I live the puece with the "scales", almost like a mermaid tail. What fun!
I must confess. I like the pebbles and gems the best.

I heartedly love you both. Your video's give me so much joy. It takes me back at an age of wonderment that I so much loved all of it. We had a 1.4th acre garden that the rows were so narrow we had to walk toe to heel gently moving away limbs and vegies. Yes, I too helped my momma with her flower beds completely around the house and all over the porches. We went bottle digging and beach combing. Memories that last a lifetime and beyond I pray. I am so glad that I found such wholesome and mysterious videos. Thank you so much. Hugs:)
Iâm here in the US the commonwealth of Kentucky but I just visited Boothbay Maine and started collecting Seaglass. I came home and discovered you guys. I love the information you give on sea glass and especially sea pottery. Cant Wait to watch all of your adventures. I so wish I could come to your part of the world. Maybe someday itâs on my bucket list, my maternal grandparents OJernigan and OâSullivan are from Scotland.
Oh my goodness, id of been in heaven larking on that beach with you both Gail and Alex. I adore beach combing for the likes of well worn beautiful pieces of pottery, which just screams, make me into something. So much of what you found, was ready made for making jewelry out of.
The sea glass is always so magical to see and hold. Worn so beautifully by the seas waves and sand. Our waste rubbish, tossed into the sea, made beautiful by some of nature's greatest force's. Time and water!
Its always a pleasure to join you both.
P.S. wow that wind certainly was blowing hard at the end of the day.
Haha made me giggle at the close...there goes the hat. đđš đ
can't wait to see what you make with all those gorgeous finds!
I don't know if anyone mentioned it already but the big bead with the offset hole looks like a bead from girl's ponytail holders. The holders are elastic made in a figure eight pattern with a clamp in the middle to hold the ends and midway point together, creating the figure eight. On each loop is a big bead, usually plastic, and after wrapping the holder around your hair you simply clamp one bead over the other, locking it in place.
Of course, it could also have been used perhaps on a basket with a lid as part of the closure, loop over bead. Just a thought.
I just love sea glass and sea pottery. So beautiful.
I adore the pottery pieces you both are finding.
glad you had fun ladies. love to watch
Oh I would be in so much trouble if I was there. I would need to be trucked off the beach because my pockets would be full of stones! Love the smooth stones and if I was lucky enough to find sea glass I'd be so happy â€â€â€â€
Thanks for a lovely day!
Hi lovely ladies, great finds, would love to see you making the jewellery from some . Much love Sue Gosling â€ïž
Loved the scaled print on the pottery, I can see you making a fish and making it into a sculpture with the bottle glass you found right after.
The sea worn bottle glass looks like an ocean wave.
Canât wait to go beach combing in about 10 days. Darlene from Tiffin Ohio
Time seems to fly while watching your videos. Before Iâm ready the video is over. đ the finds and the beautiful scenery. You ladies never disappoint!
Hello Gail and Alexđ I enjoy watching your videos it's very relaxing for me. I loved that banded agate Alex found, that ones sure a beauty. Can't wait to watch more of your videos. Stay blessedđ
A marvelous windy lark!!
this was a very joyous beach coming
Nice job Ladies, congratulations on your finds !!!
Wonderful video! Thank you Gail and Alex!
That second marble find looks like candy!
Fantastic photography! Love to search the beach for treasures with you!
Hello Beautiful Gail and Alex! So excited to see our new adventure! Is that big stone a Meteorite? OMG that white stone looks kind of scandalous
@Linda Gomez I was kind of ...uh.... surprised by that chunk of white clay (?), too. đ€
It definitely was.... suspiciously familiar. Hmmm...
That looked like a fun day beachcombing, lots of beautifulm finds. The piece of ceramic wth the backstamp, is probably from 'Feltham' an Englsh town.
Exquisite finds and music in this video. Thank you!
Like the rocks and marble as much as the glass!
Have to say that I really love the sea pottery the best, but I enjoy every moment of your videosđ
Like watching your videos.
I got a suggestion. You two need to invest in the mini folding shopping carts. That way you it would be easier to carry the bricks you like to put in your gardens . Or even a small wagon.
You are so fortunate to have so many wonderful finds on your beaches. Love the pottery pieces.
I know red sea glass is scarce. What would you say is your largest find?
Love watching you find your treasures. Good luck.
I would like to thank the Patrons as well! I cannot afford that at this time but sincerely appreciate your help for this channel. I love these ladies and their adventures and you help make it possibleâŁïž
I love the bits of blue and white
The cod bottle half would look good with air plants in it.
Love your videos ladies!!!
