Dock leaves always grow near nettles, crunch one up and rub it on the nettle stung area. works a treat
I always thought they were 'doc' leaves, like a doctor, because they make you feel better after being stung 😂

The little bottle with the brass inside is that maybe an early kind of pump dispenser? Maybe perfume? The rod being the straw that sucks it up (but has disconnected) and the top is missing.

Isn't that absolutely wonderful to find a treasure longed for, for so long! I am thrilled for you! so many sweet finds. Thank you always! my all time favorites are the tiny bottles and the ones with a chipped lid would be so cool with thin glass bubbles coming out of it. I love the misfits because they may have been discarded but are so worth so much more.

It's a good thing I live in Australia - I'd have to hire a truck or charter a small plane for every mudlark outing if I lived in the Uk lol!! Stunning finds, I can't pick one, they are all beautiful. I think the gravy bottle is gravy browning which you can still buy today. My mother and grandmother always made gravy on a Sunday with the meat juice and gravy browning and I have followed in their footsteps c

You both found some lovely treasures on this lark. That figurine of the man with the pipe and colourful clothing was so detailed. I loved that you managed to find his hand and knee. Bet that was such a treasured possession at one time. Awe and now its been found again. To lead a whole new life.
That eye was so well spotted. A perfect beautiful blue. I'm bias, i have blue eyes. 😂 wow and it fit into that broken dolls face so well. They were made for each other....literally.

I really always have a hard time picking my favorites with y’all’s lark. The lead chair, the soul to the tiny toddlers shoe, the beads, the German marbles, the bottles, the lids, (the pewter lid of the the pewter lid off the) lol I love you Gail. I couldn’t even imagine the bloopers I would be making every other word. Lol back to my list of favorites doll parts and faces, the ever so beautiful crystal blue dolls eye, the magnificent statue of the carpet, textile maker, seller( he indeed is so detailed, colorful and completely unique). Like I said I love all of them and really enjoyed this video. My daughter and I lost my husband and her day last week and today has been tough so I really needed the laughter and cheerfulness this video brought me today. All my love and prayers to you and yours can’t wait til next weeks to come out and the newest crafting video.

When Alex was talking about the Nettles it reminded me that I was going to warn you to be careful and watch out for certain wild plants. these can not only sting but some are quite deadly. i will make a list of what to watch out for, or I will try to find a recent post that you can watch.
I think I would ball up a small piece of paper and put in the knee of the statue. That way it would give form to build it back with Milli put so it wouldn’t collapse inward. Or something to that effect but you’re much more craftier than I am so I’m sure you will do excellent job as you always do.
