  • Barbara and I install the BajaRon sway bar on her 2021 Sea-to-Sky Can Am RT Limited. The installation took about 3.5 hours but that's considering the extra time to film it all. Could have done it under three hours easily.
    Overall we are very impressed with the improved handling on the Can Am and highly recommend the upgrade. This video is not sponsored by anyone.

    One of the best mods for a Spyder. I’ve been told by friends that it really helps in turns and when passing 18 wheelers. Easiest install I did, was helping a friend. He lifted the front with a tractor front loader using straps to the upper a-arms.
    Oh, and Lamonster Garage and Spyderpops are the best people to deal with hands down!! Spyder Accessories is great as well.

    2. Do you have to do a front tire alignment after doing this? Thanks and cheers!

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  Před rokem

      The bell is called a gremlin bell. It’s superstitious thing among bikers/riders. The way the story goes is you mount them low behind the front tire to catch any gremlins (or problems) that may be on the road and they supposedly hit the bell and it knocks them out. Hahaha, sounds stupid now that I write it out. They key is you cannot buy your own bell, it has to be given as gift by someone that cares about you and you cannot ask for it.

    • @TwoIndians

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  Před rokem

      No idea but I know the FTC has put out a ruling that states that no warranty can be nullified unless the manufacturer can prove the modification resulted in the warranty defect. So in effect they can’t just cancel your warranty on the motor because you installed the sway bar but if you’re getting unusual tire wear they could definitely have a case

    OK, let me see if I got things right here... Body sway is less on the trike now so you do not feel your body is being forced left or right in the turns as much?

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  Před 2 lety +3

      Essentially yes. the sway bar is not suspending the laws of physics obviously , your speed, weight and other factors would dictate the force on your body but the bike is pitching to the left or right to a lesser degree on those turns now so the result is a feeling of more control. The bike is more neutral on the turn, less affected by inertia due to the higher tensile strnegth and sprnig action of the sway bar. You feel it right away. It feels like the bike is not trying to throw you off as much as the stock set up.

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  Před 2 lety

      In the states they would have to prove the changes are what caused a failure. Probably not an issue with a sway bar.
