i think with this song, instead of trying to make their voices match with each other, they are highlighting their contrasting voices. Like Gaga is more like vogue-ish, broadway voice, while Ariana is that airy, light voice.
this is an example of when 2 artists collabed but not sacrificing who they are and instead worked around it together to make a bop.
selfish in a way, but that selfishness is a collaboration, intention, and consent from each Ariana and Gaga.

These two have created a whole new genre of music, I swear.
This song is a masterpiece. It's got modern elements, but a lot of old school European house music inspiration. Also feels like it could have come out in 2010, which adds nostalgia to it for me. Very on brand for Gaga and Ari's light vocals are like the cherry on top.

I found interesting how at the end of the song it's Gaga who sings in a higher pitch and Ariana stays down instead of the other way around how we'd probably expect since she's always the one doing whistle notes and "showing off" (I'm sorry if this sounds confusing, english is not my first language).
Gaga does hit a nice note right at the end that he skipped over, but it's really impressive!
