Great Update👍, still missing a few. Can it be possible to add 10 bit and a better log profile. Or do you think it is not possible. Due to the chip in the camera
It's a superb update, finally a couple of really great additions. I've been told by Insta360 that due to the chip they chose capable of A.I. the camera is not capable of 10-bit of log profiles. I haven't really been missing them to be honest though.

That makes such a difference for me, love it!
Wish the battery % would remain displayed, but it goes away after a few seconds. The DJI Mic does work via Bluetooth, but does not have a record Level displayed on the camera when in use, like it does when the record DJI Adapter , receiver and 9mm cable are used.
Good video, with the Dji transmitter can you alter the gain manually with the action pro ?
You do have the option to adjust gain via the Ace Pro, mind you I don’t touch anything and it’s pretty much perfect.
is it true tho someone said the old firmware update in low light at 4k30fps better than the new update which is v1.0.51 and also in purevideo the old firmware update is better than the new update?

Great video! I just subbed. Do you think the next Ace Pro 2 will have 1 inch sensor for better low light and some bokeh happening? That would make an instant purchase for me.
I’d be disappointed if it had bokeh, I want my vlog camera to be sharp all over. The low light is unbeatable on the Ace Pro in my experience, like mind-blowing good. I also think it will be a while before Insta drop a v2. Thanks, welcome to the channel!

Hey, is there any trick to be able to use Ace Pro as a live stream camera?
I was just thinking why the heck I cannot see how much battery is left…
… and I hope it solved the issue of desynchronisation between audio and video with the wind reduction on.
Insta360 customer service had recently a hard time, but they are improving and solving those issues. 👍 good job 👍
I think it’s great Insta360 is constantly bringing us fresh updates and improving the camera. The wind reduction seems to do a really good job, and if you tap the battery it turns the % on and off.

No, I don't think so. I think that would probably mess pure video up.
@@PhillipSkraba Im still on update 1.0.21 but i feel like im missing out on alot of good updates that are very useful for manual settings and im not to sure if they even make much of a difference compared to auto settings besides maybe cleaning up some grain.

other review said this camera focus at infinity but your video looks like the camera blur out the further background and the tree leaves not clear at all ??
No, mine is super sharp at infinity, it does need a comfortable arms length for your face to be sharp too though. That or use a diopter if you want super closeup shots.
It seems that there is more noise in the recording due to the new fw. Can you confirm?
I haven't found that problem on mine, no. Seems the same as before.

Yes, I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and I connect to the app no problems at all. Did you update the app? If not, maybe try deleting it and re-installing it.
@@PhillipSkraba have done all of that. we have 2 iphone15 pro max, and 1 ipad 11 pro m2, we have the ace pro the x3 and the go2. and we cant connect to nonn of them with any of the 3 devices!! but we have an older ipad 12 pro and an iphone 12 pro max. all devices runnin ios 17.4.1 except the iphone 12 that on 16.3 and ipad 11 thats on ios 17.5 beta.
have 2 videoes on my youtube profile that i have shared with insta360 for help. but it doesent seems like they are able to recreate my problems
so i was hoping to find other users with the same problem so maybe insta360 would escalate this problem and get it fixed! this problem started in march some time. not sure if it was after an insta360 update or an ios update. i wish i was able to reroll the insta360 app back to before the x4 was released just to find out if that was when the problem started.
@@aZiDtrip I see, that is really weird, I've not encountered that problem at all. Have you tried connecting via someone else's phone to narrow the problem down? I am on the latest firmware, and my 15 Pro Max is on Beta, with latest app firmware too.
@@PhillipSkraba i just found a fix for my iphone 15 pro max! i just have to ask you is your phone in developer mode :O ? i had to set mine to developer mode then it worked.. ;). and to answer your question. my GF have one ip15pm to same issue there.
@@aZiDtrip no, I think mine is not in developer mode. Good to hear, usually when I hear these problems i find it's an IOS problem.

Had to return the Ace Pro. I was never in focus. Wish they'd fix this problem. Prob in the Ace Pro 2.0.
Well, it's not really a problem that can be fixed, rather a limitation due to the aperture used in the Ace Pro. Every single lens has a minimum focus limitation depending on its aperture, so it's really about knowing how to use it. I keep mine at a distance where I'm always in focus, as you can see in my video, nice and sharp focus on me.
@@PhillipSkraba I'm surprised they don't tweak their vlogging mode & have their AI chip do some kung-fu to adjust for & correct the focus.
I am thinking you did this but maybe report the issue to them if you haven't.
That would be magic. I keep the camera at a comfortable arms length and it’s perfect, just how close are you vlogging?!

360 leveling is only available in free frame mode. Extremely disappointing.
No it’s not, I was filming in video mode! Video, Active HDR and Loop.
@@PhillipSkraba okay. Just figured it out. It’s not available in 4K 60. Only 4K 30 and 1080p 60 or lower. Still disappointing but not as much.

I don’t know, I shoot all action in 25fps, I like the natural look of it. If I slow down, I go all the way to 120fps 🚀
