McCloud Falls - Upper, Middle and Lower Falls in Northern California

- McCloud Falls are located right outside McCloud CA near Mt. Shasta. The waterfalls are three tiers. Upper, Middle and Lower McCloud Falls.
They are in northern California and there is a campground called Fowlers Campground next to lower McCloud Falls for camping.

Very Impressed with your videos. You show the sights and succinctly cover important details about parking access, length of hikes, degree of difficulty, fees, history, etc. Very helpful for seniors who need to know these things, (especially degree of difficulty and length of hike(, before embarking. Hate to say this, but so many people show their videos mainly of themselves. Cute but useless. Again, MUCH thanks for your excellent videos.

If you Walk the trail from the lower falls, up street. You can walk up to the base of the middle falls.

The three falls are not kid friendly but if you drive 2 minutes down the road there is a spot called McCloud Swimming Hole. I took my kids there and they loved it.

Whyd you stop making vids? Siskiyou county is beautiful. Should check out Scott's valley. Camp at Carter meadows. So many lakes and streams.

Are they open for camping during the pandemic.?
I don't know if they are currently open but we visited in June of 2020 last month during the pandemic and they were still open for camping and to see the falls :)
I’m on my way there right now and I have a quick question what time of the day can I go there when it’s totally shady before the sun hits it or after the sun has disappeared in the afternoon. Never been there so I don’t know which direction the sun sets and rises
Sorry I saw this comment! I hope that you had fun at the falls. We went about 10 or 11 and it was perfect. Not to much sun and not too much shade :)
