  • If you are looking for a great Crescent City CA Beach then you should visit the Stairs to the Beach along Pebble Beach Drive. It is one of the best agate beaches in town! It's a great free thing to do in this little beach town.

    That water coming down is from the wetlands across PB Drive, behind the houses. It was a great place to play growing up.

    As kids we used to slide down the handrail to the beach. Never explored to the left, didn't look like it would have agates.

    Pebble Beach Drive (the Crescent City version) is one of California's hidden gems.

      Yes!! I agree it is one of my favorite drives and views and it's not even busy like many of the southern California beaches.

    Super kool!, I've been up Hwy 1 to Westport, then up to the Ave of the Giants, the next trip will take us to Eureka an up to my Favorite City, Crescent City, great video, those tide pools are kool!, Thx!

    Thanks! We have been through Crescent City a few times but have never done the Pebble Beach Drive. This will be on our list of things to do next time.

    Clear blue agates are glass, so are the green ones

      @@askforadventure I agree those are sea glass from broken bottles that have been polished in the ocean and turned into pebbles very different from agate. Blue agates are either a dark dusky rich blue or a very light greyish blue from what I've seen I'm a crescent city local born a few streets away from this beach
