David, I'm a guy and I've obviously never had a period but I've had food poisoning and got severe stomach cramps from it to the point where I was in the hospital. It felt like I was in a kung fu movie and Bruce Lee reached inside my stomach, grabbed it, and wringed it out like a towel being completely wringed out of water. Apparently this is what period stomach cramps feel like. That shit sucks

Karma works in different ways. It's not only negative but can be positive... It depends on what you put out into the world.
Storytime: I was in a program called Health and Wellness in high school (It's like a second diploma). So there were a ton of assignments we were told to do and the head of the H&W program checked in maybe 2 weeks or so later and asked the class if they did it all. I was the only one that completed it all and she acknowledged me for doing it. The woman was pissed. Pretty sure I did most of the assignments in one night because I didn't want to disappoint her. Fast forward to a c/o 2012 graduation meeting in the auditorium there was a guy with Class gear and raffle prizes. I was one of the prize winners and guess who used their hand to pick out my name. It was the head of the H&W program.

karma: if you do something with ill intent (not like accidentally stepping on someone else's foot) then something bad will happen to you. if you do something good with good intent, then you get good karma... if you do something extreme on either the negative/positive side of karma, it can carry over to your next life. ;) its not so much eye for an eye and its not always something that happens instantly, but its about the same concept. (btw this doesn't carry over for obviously hella wrong shit like rape and murder and the like... you can't justify someone raping someone as that they DESERVE it because its "karma" -- nope.)) this also doesn't cancel out free will (choosing to do right/wrong) and it also doesn't mean that the universe takes care of ERRYTHANG -- you are still very much the captain of your own soul.

Actually you don't really feel tampons (or you're not supposed to) once they're inside you. If you're not thinking when you're changing your tampon (which, after a few days of changing it multiple times a day you just kinda do it without thinking) you can totally forget there's one up there because you don't feel it and stick another up there. It's fairly common.
Also, a question to other girls: do you get 'crazy' on your periods? I've had times where I've been sorta moody or irritable, but never really, really, crazy.
