If you want to know the story, basically the company treats their employee’s horribly, with the animator zalinki forced to work in a dark closet, by the boss (who is also zalinki) because this represents him torturing himself to keep working himself to death for his content. Everyone in the company is so mistreated in the company that eventually, everyone just snaps. All over the last slice of cake. The janitor without a care in a world represents who he aspires to be. Free from any judgement, not caring about other’s expectations and only worried about what makes HIM happiest.

I don’t think I’ve ever commented on this video, but this was posted after my third suicide attempt when I was 16. This song completely changed my point of view on life. I started working hard to change my situation. I talked to people. I admitted to myself that I was the one I hated, not everyone else. My life has changed so much thanks to a catchy tune and I’m genuinely an optimist who reaches out for help and listens to bleachers instead of teen suicide. I am not doomed to be sad.

I haven't come back to this channel in a while but something in me remembered hearing when this first came out, I didn't quite relate to it in it's entirety but I sympathized with it's message that it was trying to get out with it's funky little tune; especially, with the growth your channel was going through during the time this came out. After listening to it again now it really is something I relate to, maybe not in the same context of the stress in the sudden rise in popularity, but many things going on in my life right now have really affected my relationships with friends and just my mental health in general where I can't really blame others for not sticking around if it's not their responsibility to try to help me when I don't really explain what's going on with me other than make jokes about it. It's exhausting feeling this way, that no matter how much I try to hide it or laugh things off it doesn't make it go away. The burnout of trying to speed through life to meet expectations set from those around me has made me feel useless, where I once was thriving I've now been struggling and failing repeatedly.
This comment doesn't really have a happy ending to it that I wish I could tell right now, I want to try to work on reaching out to old friends maybe even make new ones but I guess just even posting this comment and getting these thoughts out there is a good enough first step towards something better. Your song has at least made me feel less alone on this, though we don't share the same experiences it feels similar enough to what you may have been feeling around the time that you made this song, so thank you for being brave enough to share it with us.

I was 16 when I first heard this song. I couldn't feel anything. Happiness, pain, touch. I had just kind of stopped feeling and started going through motions. This song hurt. Other Zalinki songs hurt a lot more. I realized I had been in a really shitty place for a really long time. Beginning of this year I started getting therapy. Got diagnosed with some stuff and stopped going. I started working really hard to connect with people. I started doing stupid shit too. I started dancing in the rain, taking pictures of grass, kissing boys, howling at the moon. To an outside observer I looked absolutely insane. I didn't care because I was starting to feel again. Yeah, I have bad days where it all comes back but now I have good days where I can dance and sing and laugh and actually talk to people. I think that one day I'll make it out of this. In the mean time you can find me in the rain dancing in dark. Thanks and stuff for this Zalinki. Most days I wake up glad I never killed myself.

The meaning of this video is mainly described in previous videos. So in “The Plan” video we know this place is obviously the HQ of Zalinky, and everyone is dying because he’s growing, and according to his plan, the more he grows, the more shit content he produces. And those people, sunglasses, man in closest, and janitor actually are just people that work there. Sunglasses is the face of the building, janitor is the man cleaning up after everyone’s mistakes, and the man in the closest is the true Zalinky, who because of CZcams, is forced to stay behind a screen until he realizes that his HQ is practically dead, which means he can come out, and in means of his channel, means he starts to give up on the job so really, this music video is Zalinky saying good bye, because all of his friends have abandoned him, he feels dead inside, and he doesn’t see the point in CZcams anymore.

This will always be one of the most important videos on CZcams to me. One of the best pieces of art I’ve ever experienced, hands down. The animation is so stylized and perfect, with the various small storylines all meaning so much to me. The song fits in so well and the lyrics are so randomly meaningful. The word masterpiece is an insult to how absolutely great an amazing the lyrics and animation of this song is
To me, it's a music video about cleaning up the aftermath of a literal pity party.
I suppose the janitor signifies a self awareness of the absurdity and irony of having to be left with picking yourself up after beating yourself up for hours on end.
This then fits the lyrics and message of how some people tend to unhealthy dwell on their negative emotions through actively searching music that validates their mood.
They are upset, they simply wish to be heard or seen, or to be given a straight answer from a sea of disorienting insecurity. However instead of addressing the issue that causes them to feel upset in the first place, they settle with the satisfaction of continuously dwelling on the emotion as it validates them, it causes them to feel victimised and owed an explanation and positive karma from the people around them.

We all wanna be the dancing happy guy that isn't phased by the mess and always manages to clean everything up. But in the end like the more detailed face reflex (reflects) we're hiding in the storage waiting for the tide to pass. He's animating but to the world he's still listening to the lyrics.
