Don't put in the egg mixture when the dough and pan is still really hot because you will end up with scrambled eggs ..... lernt from experience 😑😂

Oh crap, I saw this too late. I think its the scrambling that gives them that eggy taste 😂 oh well I know for next time. I was thinking that as I was mixing.

I baked this churros and they were great, my family loved them.... I was a bit scared of this kind of dough, but it turned out to be really easy to work with...though working with the piping bag was a little tricky I am going to use the dough to make some eclairs today .... wish my luck! :)
All of the recipes are here (www.biggerbolderbaking.com) including one for cream puffs, this is a choux pastry, and a good one for the repertoire :)
something really bad happened and I don't know why....the dough was looking great, piped the eclairs in the tray, put them in the oven and....they were rising gorgeous, looking golden brown, so I turned off the oven after 20 minutes....but after the extra 10 minutes resting in the hot oven, the eclairs were deflated :( ...this didn't happen when I made the churros .... anyway, they were eatable and my family appreciated the effort :)

Ana Şinca for the eclair I think you should put a x on the bottom do it can steam out. Or maybe try making the oven a lower heat 5 minutes to the end and bake for 8-10 minutes instead, then it should work! The only reason is because it's hot in the oven and once you take it out, it's not the same temperature so it'll deflate! :) hope this helped

Definitely the BEST churro recipe ever. They are SO quick and easy and so much healthier too bc of the exclusion of grease. Definitely recommend!!
I love and follow your channel! Tried many recipes and were successful. One thing i love about your baking is that you have everything listed in the description box and not a link where i have to go to the website to refer to the ingredients and instructions. Secondly i love that you have the ingredients in cups, oz and gram!!! In my country 1 cup of water is 255g and not 225g. Hence i'm grateful that you gave your recipes in grams too which helps in the success of my bakings. Thank you.

mistakes i made:
-didn't sift the flour first so it was harder to blend them thoroughly.
-i didn't have baking paper/parchment so I used aluminium foil, but it stuck bad. Should've spread butter and powdered it with flour first to reduce sticking.
-I followed the tip of sprinkling water, but too much. It took so long to harden, and some were partially soggy on the inside, it became more like a cream puff.
-forgot to add salt
-can't really call this a mistake: the coating wouldn't stick on to the churros even when they were STILL WARM. Do we have to spread a little butter on to it so they might stick? but I was afraid to compromise the flavour. In the end, I went with the easiest option, dip it in the melted chocolate, THEN dip it to the coating.
but it's okay, it's my first time anyways. Maybe people can learn from my silly mistakes too. And to Gemma, Thank you for the recipe!
Hi Fanesha. I'm sorry to hear that, but on the positive side of it is you are learning. Churros are traditionally fried, hence some get surprised by how it bakes in an oven. When it puffs or bubbles, just let it. And then you leave the tray in the oven for a few minutes after you have turned off the heat. It will settle.
And yes, the sugar and cinnamon will stick when you coat the churro in it. No need to brush it with butter.

Def Fever My ones were a bit smaller in size.. so I baked them for 150℃ for around 20 mins.. everyone's ovens are different.. so u may have to choose different temperature .. 😇

What a great finger food! I made these for a party but I served them with runny dulce de leche. Oh, the flavour combinations! Definitely recommend you try.

Oh my god i've tried them and they were sooooooooo delicious i even added some bananas for the dish side to eat with the chocolate but just one thing i had to add like another tsp of corn flower for the chocolate to thicken since it didn't want to but it was deliciouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus thk u thk u

I use water to hold the paper down. I brush the dish with water, and then the wax paper sticks to it. It has the added bonus if steam coming off the dish for the first ten minutes of baking, and adds a lovely taste

Wouldn't use wax paper in an oven
Please its not safe to use wax paper in an oven. Wax will melt and will corporate to your baked goodies
use parchment paper, wax paper melts and sticks to the food and also can be burned
the hot chocolate took me a while to perfect but it was SO worth it they now taste even better!
