      Indeed! You folks are doing a great job! When arriving from Europe, I´m happy SIN is so efficient, within 20 min after disembarking the aircraft you can be in the cab - including getting your checked luggage. When connecting, there´s no better place to relax, sleep, have fun or eat. You should visit European or Arab airports, then you´ll know why SIN is elected as world´s best airport. I like other airports too, but they are of different class.

    We could indeed trawl some information out from the video. However I have some questions regarding
    visa check? It is under whose responsibility? The airlines ground workers or passport control officers?
    luggage weight check? if there is an overweighed bag, how will the travellers pay for the extra kilos? ^^
    I guess the use of high technologies at public places means more electricity consumption...which leads to higher bills, higher taxes, more natural sources will be used to create devices...lesser job opportunities, our population is growing yet work opportunities is getting smaller...It will be a very tough place to live if this trend continues...
    Advantages : People will be driven to study harder and excel in technologies...(higher skilled workers) or some will try to create new types of jobs as technologies/robots will take over service jobs..

    You can keep Singapore. Repressive society and a proponent of shutting down dissenting voices. In addition, this country even have people checking toilets in the airport, after you poop, to see if you leave anything behind so they can fine you. Just an odd place.

      @ColinYapp Před 6 lety

      Over the years the city of Singapore has been described by many as one of the cleanest on Earth with roads and toilets being “clean enough to eat off“, which is perhaps to be expected from a city where it’s illegal not to flush a public toilet.
      Also, leaving traces is considered not flushing it.
