@@tomb.2224 Yeah!!! I'm also a supreme guru genius who knows all the things about dogs!!! Can people even count how many things that is?!? ... didn't think so. How dare these people mention a dog without consenting me first!!!

Reminds me so much of when my now-ex-wife and and our two beagles and I moved to a new home. They ran around checking everything out much like they did when we visited a friend's home for the first time, but once our stuff was moved in, they knew it was home and accepted it right away. However, when they discovered the fenced back yard, something they'd never had before, they ran around until they were too tired to come back inside and we had to carry them in. They both slept for hours after that and were so excited when they woke up to be able to do it again.
I just moved into my new house with my beagle couple of weeks ago and it was the same for me. Her first time with an actual garden. Was out there for 4 hours sniffing and chomping on stuff.
I hate to be the wet blanket on your obvious, and well earned, happiness about your house. I hope Benny lets you have the big bedroom. :-) I noticed when y'all went into the back yard that you put Benny on a chain. I also noted that you did not have a fence around your back yard. I'm hoping that the chain is temporary until you get the fence built. I live in Austin TX. Chaining your dog outside without human supervision is now a criminal offense here.
I hope y’all will be able to get a fence very soon so your dog doesn’t have to be chained up. As soon as you can, purchase some shade trees that are relatively fast growers. That way you can buy a nice 6-9 foot tree you are able to plant yourself ( it is still kinda just a stick tree) , but will put out some shade in a few years. Congratulations on your new home, it looked so nice. I’m sure y’all will have a happy life there.
I love seeing families moving into their first house. It's so exciting! We kinda take multiple floors, underused rooms, full yards and driveways for granted when we had them growing up, it's so lovely seeing folks get to really have a space of their own again.
He'll really enjoy that yard. And a bit of relief from as many walks, since you can now throw a ball or have other play in the yard. Congrats! All the best!
Congratulations on buying a house. It looks great. I love how Benny christened the backyard right away. He seems comfortable. Time for another dog and baby lol. Just kidding. Happy for the 4 of you.😃
He walks in like he owns the place! Because he does! He seems to know it's his home and is checking everything out! And then he goes outside to mark his territory. Great job, Benny!! Hey Benny, we live here in Massachusetts and we love the temperature here, maybe you should visit us? I am a 10-year-old female Berner named Bernie, and I look just look you. And two years ago I got a Bernese brother named Frankly (We already had a Frankie in the family, and by the way, I'm not too fond of him) and he is two. See you later Benny! Have fun at your new home. And if they try to install an invisible fence, you just need to get up to speed and jump through it at the last second. I'm very good at it. And I love to say to my neighbors.
I got a invisible fence for my newfie and berner best thing I have ever done for them. We live in the country and have coyotes everywhere. It keeps my dogs safe because the dogs won't leave the backyard and the coyotes won't come in because the dogs are bigger than they are.
@@swannest1269 I think they're just doing it as a precaution, because one side of the yard is not fenced off. They're probably planning on putting in a fence
Ditch the chain and get a tie-out- cable. It won't kill the grass like the chain. And it's just as strong. Congratulations on the house! It's beautiful!
He's ready to move right in, went in like he owned the place, checked it out and went upstairs to pick out his room, then went out and mark his territory. Good boy....
The last part with the cuddling was a great way to end the already great video! To me, it shows how much you guys love your dog and how happy the dog will be in the new house.
Ha ! Nice !! And the star of the show gets first dibs !!😁😁 Love all your productions. My bernedoodle pup (in the hot interior Phoenix desert or I might have a full fledged bernese) occasionally watches them too🤣😉
One thing- you really DO need to fully fence that yard so he won't have to be on that chain. Makes a HUGE difference, for him and for you! WELL worth it!
@@BennyBerner Maybe work a deal with the property owner. If you're good with tools you could build a nice fence, maybe have him supply materials. He'd have a fence for the price of lumber, and your baby would have a space to romp free! It's a "Win - Win'! Back when I was a renter I worked similar deals on some property improvements with several landlords. Made my family's life better, and the owners were THRILLED! Nice house! And Benny said, "WOW! Stairs inside my home!" He was very excited to see the place. It's almost like he knew it was his new home.

That's so cute HAHA. Dogs truly do understand situations, whether it's how their owner feels, or when they're in a better environment
Sorry about your bitch ex wife, Jeff.

Carrying them like babies is one of the best things
Did you also let the dog drag around its leash inside, scratching up the new floors?

A new house huh, fantastic thanks so much for sharing this 🤝😁
It's nice to see that Benny gave his approval to his new house. As long as he's happy, his humans will be happy 🤣
Happy dog/cat happy life. 😊

A house sized dog deserves a house sized house 😉 since we moved into our house I tell my dog “soak it in, this is your kingdom” ❤
Congrats on the new house!!!!
It's so sweet to see how excited Benny is!!!
Congratulations on your first house. Benny loves it❣
Benny is about as happy as I imagine his " parents " are ! He's gorgeous. 💙🐾🏘💙
Big old ball of fur. Sweet dog!
I prayed for a house with I fenced in backyard so my dog can play. I moved into the first house 2 years ago. My dogs love it. Jesus is so good.
Awesome home. Congrats and absolutely love Benny💙🐾
You should fence the yard for him. He loves it. Nice house BTW👍🏻👏
They should also take off its leash before letting it run around inside. That extension leash is scratching up the new floors.
Giving Benny the best life possible can’t even begin to equal the life he gives you. Berners are the best!
Congratulations! Looks like a beautiful new home for your little family. Benny was thrilled!
There is NOTHING like a fluffy tummy to stroke and scratch, is there? Congrats on your new home, Berny/Benny Berner!!!
i have a berner as well. Love this breed.
Try an over the head line from one side of the yard to the other... a lot more fun for Bemny
He's a hard working pup, he deserves it
Bless his heart, he is so excited. Congrats to Benny and family.❤😇❤😇

He's so happy, his first pee in his own yard. How great is that. Happy for you all. Good luck. 🌹
Congratulations on the house! That is awesome!
Love this beautiful dog
He’s so happy that I thought his tail would “wag” off. Our dog did much the same, after we moved from a three room apartment into a home.
He’s so stinking cute!! He just ran up those stairs ready to explore everything 🥹 what a cutie pie, I just wanna give him snuggles
He gave the yard his blessing.
May you all be healthy and happy in your new home. 🐾💗🏡
