Instead of water, add brewed coffee! It brings out the chocolate taste.
will it still give you a coffee affect? like will you be more awake?
@@ITSQUEENNAIJAFAULT depends on how much coffee you add, adding alot may cause it to become a bit bitter.
@@ITSQUEENNAIJAFAULT not at all, it actually enhances the richness of the chocolate flavor.
@@ITSQUEENNAIJAFAULT if you're worried about the caffeine, just use decaf coffee :) i'm not 100% sure how much caffeine you'd get from a slice of cake using this technique - i think it'd be pretty minimal - but that's what i'd suggest if you really want to avoid any caffeine intake
Instructions unclear, the coffee brewed my cake and now it's levitating 😢😢😢
If you want the chocolate taste to be even more delicious, substitute the water through coffee 😉 a trick I learned lately 😋 you won't taste the coffee, I swear
I concur! The coffee will just intensify the chocolatey flavor. 😋🤤
💯💯
Makes the cake have a rich chocolate-y taste..and smell😋🤤
Hey! I should add coffee powder or the actual coffee made with milk?
@@beingmealways8563 I just brew up some coffee with water, filter it and add it !without! anything else (coffee grounds, milk or sugar)
@@annikaseifert3654 Thanq dear ....will definitely try(◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Coffee is a great way to make chocolate cake more chocolatey
Nope
Prunes.
I make coffee cakes on their own. But you're right, coffee can make it more chocolatey
I put a tsp of coffee on mine
Ye instead of 1 cup water I add 1 cup coffee really makes it chocolately
That looks so good
I will send this video to my son as he is the chef in our family and that cake looks good!!

May god bless you sister
@haniawaseem8853 Thank you!!
I can't believe how incredibly moist and tender this chocolate cake turned out. The addition of buttermilk truly makes a difference. My friends and family were impressed, and I've already shared the link to your video with everyone who asked for the recipe!
Is there any substitution for the sugar that seems like a lot of sugar
@@meredithforozco2146it’s a cake, what did you expect💀
Here's a frosting tip: scoop premade canned frosting into a bowl and use a handheld mixer to whip it until it increases in size, lightens in color, and softens in texture. It tastes nearly homemade if you do this!
3 Cups - All Purpose flour
3 Cups - Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 Cups cocoa powder
1 Tbsp Baking powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Baking powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Salt
1 1/2 Tbsp Cardamom
Wet Ingredients ~
4 Eggs
1 1/4 Cups Buttermilk
1 1/2 Cups Warm Water
1 1/2 Tsp Vegetable Oil
2 Tsp Vanilla extract
Bake at 175°c for 30-35 Mins
Thank you! 😊

Sour cream makes the most moist cakes ever! I didn’t want to believe it until I asked someone why the cake was sooooo moist & that was the answer
Perfect but u really need to stress not to overmix. Love how you use cocoa to Treet the pans
If you don't already know, if you're worried about pastries/cakes being too tough you can buy pastry flour which has less gluten :) And/or if you overmix accidently, you can let it rest for a bit to relax the gluten.

Another 2 cents!
As a kid my dad would buy the Pepperidge Farm Fudge 3 layer cake all the time. Now on special occasions I buy it for my kids.
Side note: DO NOT USE COCOA TO GREASE THE PANS, the cake will stick, is not the same as flour that creates a crust around the mold when it meets the butter, that is what allows the cake not to stick.
I use cocoa powder on the pans every time I make a chocolate cake and have never had any issue with it. When you had trouble with sticking, are you sure you were using _unsweetened_ cocoa?
It has never stuck when I use cocoa powder. Been doing this for 17 years.
لكنها فعلت ولم تلتصق
No its not like that. I also use cocoa powder . Doesn't make any issue.
I've used cocoa powder for years. Started doing that when I was very young because I didn't want the chocolate cake to have flour on the outside when I got them out of the pan. Didn't know anybody else did it until I got older! Doesn't stick.
Thank You 😊
Dry ingredients should have been sifted (either previous to measuring or sifted together) and wet (minus warm water) ingredients should’ve been combined together. Add the warm water first to bloom the cocoa powder, then add the pre mixed wet ingredients. The hot coffee instead of water is a good hack as well.

Ha haha!! I love how not one person thanked this woman, but everyone had to add their way of make it better.
So let me say this ......
Thank you so much for showing us the steps we can take to make a great chocolate cake.
Janis Webb Hello! Well said 👏 I think it's amazing that you said something! I am making this cake..it looks absolutely delicious 😋 Have a great week! ☺
Janice Webb wow! I just looked at a few comments and seriously can't believe what I was reading 😳 It's really sad how people talk about other's...I completely understand what made you say something about it 😔
🙄
😊thanks
You guys are so blinded by wanting to be the nice person. Most of the comments i see are actual practical improvements to this normal cake recipe. No need to thank anyone because she gave the most generic recipe you can see in the internet.
Even better without music🌺🌺
I made this delicious cake when I was a teenager many years ago. Everyone loved it. I am going to make this tomorrow 😊 great cake too
Was I the only one who was astonished that she used the same amount of sugar and flour?!?!!
I was too but I believed its gonna be fine, but no. It's way too sugary 😕 & that's from someone who LOVES sweets
I was astonished by the amount of cocoa powder
You not the only one. The chocolate cake turned out really nice. But one of the things I possibly won't do is add oil. I used butter instead. I always hated to use oil for a cake; even in a cake mix. Nothing against anyone who uses oil for a cake however.
@@paigeturner7513partilho da mesma ideia que você, não gosto de usar óleo no bolo, a textura fica diferente, com manteiga fica bem melhor.
650grs de azúcar, escribieron en la receta de los comentarios!! Parece una locura
Thank you❤
This looks so delicious 😋
Looks good 👍🏼
It's the same recipe as the stay at home chef's chocolate cake 😶
That's totally her EXACT recipe. And without credits at that.
I thought the same, reading the comments to find if anyone recognises the recipe! I made a hell lot of chocolate cakes with this recipe everytime it turned out "perfect" now reading in the comments section that coffee make it even more chocolatey. I'm gonna replace hot water with coffee next time I make chocolate cake!!
I am getting diabetes
@@justascoller1418 In the original recipe, the icing has 8 cups of sugar?!!
@@beatriceladouce965 Not "exactly", here they added cardamom😅. Also apparently they have a recipe book so I'm guessing they're all stolen recipes and obviously with no credits.
I like the way you do it either way you can get it sol
No i want to eat unfrosted box cake alone and cry
You can make a teacake
how does it feel being the funniest AND most relatable thing ive read this morning
😟
i wants Eat that Alone With Watching World cup 👀😁😭👍👍👍
😂😂😂
Dont use cocoa powder instead of flour. It doesn't have the same binding properties so your cake is just going to stick to the pan
Don’t use Pepsi or Dr Pepper either
But it works hey. I only use it when baking chocolate cake though. Learned this from Ina Garten
No, it isn't. Go ahead. I use cocoa powder.
YZESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Yummy❤
I like it i will try it 😍❤️
Genius to coat pan with cocoa!
Looks moist and nice.
Muchísimas gracias por compartir esta receta.
Dios te bendiga 😊
Add a tablespoon of Mayo and some coffee (cold) trust me when I say... perfection
She said, “don’t go crazy on the cardamom” 👀 😂
It looks so good, adding oil mzkes it more moisture
Frosting?
Ummm yummy 😋
Should whisk eggs before adding to the dry mix for better consistency control.
i done it but its to watery in the middle i used the exact measurements but apart from that I LOVE IT
The Curtis household would be proud 😌
For the people saying this is exactly like Home chef's chocolate cake. See,. There are five to six ways you can bake a cake. Any cake. This particular method is called the all in one method and it's a tried and tested method written in books. Not invented by a youtuber. Vanilla essence, coffee, stout beer, mayonnaise all these are optional. The main base recipe remains the same. Don't hate on this person if the recipe seems familiar from another channel. Baking is science and is supposed to come with a particular set of instructions. It's natural the recipe will be similar or same.
bien dicho
Make sure to sift the coco powder!
Although Carlos followed in the cursed footsteps of Vitor Meira getting 2 Indy 500 runner-ups, I’m so happy he was able to at least break Vitor’s curse of getting a race win before he disappeared from the series after his Foyt stint
Thanka for sharing this recipe
fantastic! ALL THE VERY BEST!!!
😋 it is such a delicious cake
Yummy 😋🤤 Cake 🍰🎂
Delicioso todo lo de chocolate y exquisito. Bien explicado.😊
Recipe is great . Don't use tissue to spread the butter . Some parts of the tissue will be mixed with the butter . Will try this recipe .peace ✌️

650 GRAMS OF SUGAR????? america rly do be wildin-
Stop jumping on that bandwagon. You’d be swallowing that like a vacuum if you’d never known about the grams.
That’s the normal amount for any cake anywhere but it really depends on what your making
That's even more than the flour. But, could be because cocoa powders are a little bitter. It's still a lot of sugar imo but I'm not a pro baker so I could be wrong
This horrible really😮 all this sugar 😢
@@azaezae2791Erm....I don't think so. I bake all the time. Pound cakes have equal measurements/weight of flour, sugar and butter, yes. But hey, it's your party🎉
This is the 'Stay at Home chef's recipe! Please give credits
Amazing cake 🍰
Wats the frosting used
It was great, dear friend and colleague. Always shine.😍😍😍
wow looks so delicious chocolate cake
That just looks so fucking good 🤤😋
First bite feel you heaven
Second bite you teleport in heaven
Unfunny and Unrealistic try next time
Thank you for this recipe-this is one of the yummiest and most moist cakes I’ve ever made ( also easiest). Small correction on sugar, it’s actually 4 cups not 3 cups. I added coffee to the warm water and it took around 40mins to bake in a convection oven.
😮😮😮

Wow delicious!
Oh I love Cake ❤❤🎉thank you this recipe is a winner 🥇
Yum❤
You're killing me! 😉
I have the ingredients.
But, I live by myself. I'll just make a chocolate mug cake.
Just divide the entire recipe by 3 . Then you will have just 1 layer cake
You can ⅓ the recipe and add just 1 large egg
I'm with you. Or make a 8×8 cake, have a piece then freeze the rest for a rainy day or a special pick me up.
