    Hi
This Corsa, came to me with a misfiring and the spanner light on... I was told the that the car has been scanned, and the misfiring was on cylinder 3... was also obviously that the injector on this cylinder was not the original...
This however, revealed not to be entirely true... or was?
Follow me on this video to find out what was the problem and how to resolve it.
    Tools and Materials used:
    Flux used: NC-559-ASM-UV
    rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53...
    To clean: Isopropyl Alcohol
    rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53...
Soldering Iron: Temperature controlled soldering station.

    Hello from France, Luis,
If I had to describe your videos, I would say: simple, essential ... but terribly effective!
Your working methods should be taught in schools!
It's a pleasure for me to watch them every time you post one.
My only regret is not being near you, spending time in your workshop, offering you coffee and chatting. ;)

yes well done good job there, if I get one of these that will be my first check .. they could at least have attached an under bonnet sticker warning to keep the drain clear .. they must know it's a problem and one day the ECU is going to flood, so there's a problem with a drain that gets blocked and another problem with the ECU not being water tight, good combination tut tut tut.

Can you make video on Saab 9-3 with B207 engine ECU? It’s the greatest automotive industry phenomenon. Noone understands why and what’s failing and it will send most of the cars to scrap soon apparently. The „fix” is almost 500$ and means replacing it with used one that can also break anytime. Solution is so badly needed...

I think that NO engineer would do shite like that...to put the ECU in that place of *future* water accumulation!! No,that is the Management job..planned obsolescence, by them smart asses, while the GOVs look the other way.
edit::::::man,you did the right thing, leaving that rubber plug out||||; if the car was mine i would drill 2 holes, 1.5 inches in diameter right under the ECU,with a hole saw,and protect the edges with a little paint; no way water would ever accumulate there again.

Hi.. I have a 2013 Corsa D 1.3 CDTi Limited Edition, I only bought the car a few days ago and the car was running ok for about a day or 2 then it started to lose power, the EML light and Car/Spanner light both came on. The car ran like a bag of spanners.. I limped it home and plugged it in to my Maxisys 906 and it threw up so many codes i didnt know where to begin I removed all the codes thinking they could be historic codes, they all cleared but upon doing a fresh scan they were all there again.. The EML and Car/Spanner light are intermittent but i daren't drive it just in case more damage is caused... I have now removed the ECU and in all honesty it doesn't look like it's had any water ingress although the drainage holes were all blocked up with leaves, it was also slightly damp around the area but no puddles of water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.... Great videos.. very informative .. Top Job !!!

Depending on the codes, check that the ecu is doing it's job... test outputs etc...
There is no magic bullets unfortunately...

@konstantintrehagyrevopoulo972 I have a wire to make a solar panel fit to the battery it can be quick connected. Yet to hook it up plan to use solar charge controller.
This would help to not over charge or discharge the battery.
A decent sized panel is required for lower light level areas.

Those SMD resistors are 10 ohm, two of these in parallel will be 5 ohms. I believe they are fuse resistors to protect the ECU, having two in this configuration increases the power rating and keeps component size smaller, and improves heat dissipation.
