Aburi is undergoing massive deforestation, rockfalls, erosion and climate change. Massive trees cutting is affecting the climate and biodiversity. It’s not going to be Berverly Hills if developers plant trees and avoid massive walls and plant green grass. Plant trees and stop the mass environmental destruction and destruction of the cool climate of the enclave. Advise is to plant trees and hedge plants for walls.

You couldn’t have said it better than anyone. what I think the problem is in my opinion, is the land ownership system that Ghana has. Most of these lands are owned by the chieftaincies, family head, & individuals. Places that aren’t supposed to be developed are still being developed due to these reasons. Government is failed to control this issue. Thank you 🙏🏿.

@@Bonsubeats I suggest you do a documentary on the Kitase Berekuso road and the Deforestation from Aye Mensah to Kitase, Berekuso and Agymenti. This will be a great mass community education for folks to Stop cutting trees and building walls around property. We need to plant trees around houses and along roadside to curb the climate change , rockfalls, erosion and potential flooding in Aburi.

Educate folks about Aburi mountains - the massive climate change and destruction of the biodiversity, deforestation and agroforestry. Stop tree cutting and concrete walls around plot of land which is causing erosion, rockfalls, downstream flooding towards metropolitan Accra. The nature groundwater is gradually being polluted with residual contaminants and aquifers are being depleted. These are all due to uncontrolled estate development with massive ecological destruction. Cutting trees and destroying natural habitats. The mountains climate is changing and becoming warmer each year. Educate folks especially buyers and community about preserving the forest. Plant trees and avoid concrete walls around plots of lands.
