I own a 2015 3500 dually 4x4 diesel (in Tradsmen trim). Only 865 lb. ft. of torque. Pulls like a dream. When towing upshits and downshifts are so much more aggressive.

I'm a Ford guy, mostly. But I been hearing rumors about Ram possibly offering an 8 speed ZF transmission or 10 speed Allison by 2024. Just rumors, but if they are true, I hope, I'd hands down be going for the Ram diesel as an RV hauler down the road. Ram already has the better exhaust brake, and I'd say slightly better looks over the new Ford Superdutys for 2023. All they are missing is an updated transmission to better compete with Ford and GM. I'm in no rush anyways with the ridiculous in interest rates atm.

My 2020 1 Ton Dually Leather seats no sunroof 63k 23k miles now. Runs like a Champ. Can’t beat the Cummins Turbo Diesel hands down for the Tow. Glad I purchased mine back than. Don’t appreciate big companies taking advantage of people now. Greed for All automotive industry. Sad

Guys, this truck is a work horse! Definitely worth upgrading to the HO. I’m a hotshot driver pulling a 40ft gooseneck and this truck loaded pulls great. I was worried about the transmission issue everyone talks about but 20k miles later and no complaints so far.
The only options I wouldn't get would be the sunroof and the fifth wheel in the bed everything else is great
12 inch screen is useless as well

I bought a 2019 mega 2500 laramie new in 19 for $66K. The exact truck is STILL $66k, but with 80K miles on it.
i got the same truck, has 15k miles on it, still worth the same pretty much lol but i put 15k into a suspension system in it from CJC offroad, stoked
Tradesman for me, new cummins is totally worth the money though.

I tested a 2020 dually with HO Cummins and it felt like a race truck. Not sure why you had lack luster performance. I seemed too powerful and I decided not to get it. It was the wrong color anyway. I bought a 2020 Cummins dually standard. love it so far
I have a 2022 dually HO. It's great but certainly no race truck nor close to Ford in terms of speed. But I do like the driveling experience over the Ford.
@@2010drive I test drive one, it felt really slow compared to my 6.7 powerstroke….granted my 2022 powerstroke was an SRW, I looked past the DRW being slower due to the extra set of wheels, so in all I still liked it and am ordering a 2023 a month or two.

Don't discount the fact that people's priorities are severely askew. People that make $75,000 a year should not be buying a $75,000 truck. But they'll do it anyway
I went to order a 2022 Ram 3500 Crew DRW Tradesman Standard Cummins. They wanted 72k for it. That’s ridiculous for a entry level trim.
If you got that kinda money just buy a 2nd gen 3500 cummins you can get one for 20 to 25k with low miles I still it's insane that these vehicles that are 30 to 20 years old is apparently worth gold

It’s crazy how prices have gone up. I have a 2021 3500 limited HO fully loaded. Window sticker says $93k. I paid $88k back in April 2021
Not only are the prices insane, there's dealer mark ups and no incentives being given on most vehicles. I was looking at a 2022 Charger 392 yesterday. The list was $58,000 and the dealer won't budge on price. I hope the dealers end up choking on all these over-priced vehicles.

It's insane that a year or 2 ago dealers were willing to deal and come down on price but now they won't budge off the MSRP. My 2021 2500 megacab msrp was $76k. To buy that exact same truck with the exact same options is $88k....ridiculous
I paid 73k for my Laramie 2020 Ram 3500 dually off the lot in Idaho. It has the phase 2 package which is pretty much the Limited without the price tag.
This truck is going for 105K according to their website

If you have an LLC Can and use that truck 50% of the time you can depreciate up to 28,000 a year on that vehicle. Long as the vehicle weighs over 6000 pounds under tax code section 179 look it up

That's because technically, this is still a 4th gen Ram. That feature isn't available, nor is a telescoping steering wheel.
