    Hello, I’m having to do some cutting on my golf cart fenders after installing my lift kit. Which Dremel attachment did you use to cut your fenders? Thanks!

    Barry, I have a question about fuel pumps for my G22. I purchased a new fuel pump online and searched for the pump with the "most economical" price. Since I did buy it at a super low price, does that price also reflect the quality of pump that I did receive? I installed the pump and turned the engine but no fuel seems to be moving. I also primed the fuel line and still no fuel. any help on this will be appreciated.

      The price is always an issue. Old saying goes "You get what you pay for". It only take 1 to 3 lbs to make the diaphragm actuate inside the fuel pump. Make sure that the engine compression is around 150 lbs, if so and you're not getting fuel to the carburetor, Bad Fuel Pump.

    how much taller did the entire kit make the golf cart from stock. Does it fit under a normal garage door?

    • @diygolfcart
      @diygolfcart  Před 9 lety +1

      mick883 The lift kit was 6" lift and the tires added another 4". The normal height of a stock Yamaha Drive is 94". Now add an additional 10" of lift....104"! Now, you must go measure your garage door! Let us know what you find!

    What's the difference in a Spindle lift kit and a regular lift kit? Does it matter? I have a G9 1991.

    • @diygolfcart
      @diygolfcart  Před 5 lety

      On a Spindle Lift Kit you replace the spindles with extended spindles that gives the car it lift in front. For a Yamaha G9, you'll need to use a A-arm lift kit. That means you replace the OEM a-arms with extended a-arms to give the lift. Each type of lift kit basically a different way to lift the front end. Sometimes due to rust, replacing the a-arms is the way to go.

      DIY Golf Cart thanks!! Do you have a link to a site that I can find my serial # so I know exactly what G it is? The serial is JG6-001-1830 but I can’t find that anywhere. And. I think the JG6 doesn’t mean it’s a G6. Thank you a ton!! Your videos are awesome.
