Tom's voice and his pronunciation of words in their songs is iconic to Blink imo and Matt doesn't cut that.. no doubt he's talented, but yeah I hope they bring back Tom and keep the 4 of them. That'd be cool 🙂

Because sound is based on vibrations of air, the people attending the concert will absorb a surprising amount of the sound. Not only is soundcheck/rehearsal going to be louder because of this but it'll sound different.
This comment and a handful of others make me think some of the vocal critics have never performed music live... the terrible acoustics are masked a bit on the drum kit, courtesy of how cymbals naturally taper off, but slushy echos recorded on a single mic are never, ever going to sound good. Matt and Mark are both perfectly competent singers and the soundboard mix for this would probably sound pretty good.

drowning the 3rd Tom has a higher pitch a more angsty teenager voice and it adds a good harmonization between Mark and he adds so much energy and I believe he’s what makes them happy besides the instrumentals which are also pretty happy but Tom added a lot
