Your story is how it should be! Each person in reality. In the beginning you have no idea how hard it’s going to get! Then about 10-15 years in couples are sideswiped and un-equipped with how to handle the long haul so they spiral! It for some reason seems like a disposable world when it comes to marriage!! Being married takes a commitment to not only your partner, but to yourself that you won’t give up, and that you will always put forth effort and love into your marriage. When leaving isn’t an option, you look at things differently as try harder. I hope I am blessed with 20 years of marriage!

I think Channing lost a really beautiful, kind, and loving person. I think she would have been willing to put the work in. Clearly he doesn't know what he wants. Too many choices. He's gorgeous now but looks will fade and I do believe one day he will look back and realize he lost a wonderful person. Im not saying he is a bad guy but he has been relationship hopping since the split. He was also at the height of his career with her. I do not think he realized how much she brought out the best in him. I am glad she is engaged and happy. I hope Channing finds the same stability the future.

honestly, Channing Tatum was so successful after marrying her. It felt like he's always in some sort of movies out there while we never seen Jenna anymore. They got a newborn and he's been in a lot of movies. that must be frustrated for her. she may not say it out loud but her current husband seems like always be there.

Actually Channing Tatum turn down roles out of respect for Jenna many times. They both are amazing dancers but Channing was alot more successful especially if he was just free. Jenna on the other could hardly get a supporting role in TV shows

I just need to heap praise on Jenna Dewan. Years ago I was working in a big name hotel in Baltimore MD. As you do in the hospitality business you meet thousands of people a year. My job was as the lead concierge. The hotel had sold a bunch of rooms and also became the working "office" for the company that was filming the movie "Step Up" starring Channing Tatum and Jenna (before they were romantically involved.... They met on set and became an item during the 3 months they stayed with us) I would see either one of them almost every day. At the time they were not the "Celebs" they are now. I came to get to know her as much as you can in a place of business. I can 100% say that she is the NICEST person I ever met. She would always say hello to me and we had several interactions throughout the time she stayed with us. Just the most amazing, kind, beautiful, person you would ever want to meet. I still gush over her...(I've dealt with many celebs in my business.... And she stands out the most normal, down to earth, likeable person)
Channing on the other hand. Let's just say he was either a non social person or a method actor. He never talked to anyone. Always looked and dressed and acted like the character he was in that film. Every time I see him in something I just have this memory of this anti-social, in his own space, man.
He may have been really thrown into his role and focused. Some people are like that.
It's pretty common that a nice person ends up with an a-hole or a B-word tho. Idk him at all, I just know that's a common relationship pattern.

Jenna is a wonderful and sweet person. She's awesome and a great dancer. I met her when she was on Janet Jackson's All For You tour. Til this day, if I see her or vice versa, she makes sure to say hello. I only met Channing once and he was funny and real cool. Made my little sisters life by hugging her the entire conversation and taking a picture.

It's a sad story if how one quickly fall in love than had a heart change. I remember his co-star all brag about how faithful he was and how they r such a lovely couple. I think his hunger for work and fame made him go on the road more which then drifted them apart. I remember I was watching her CZcams of her giving tips on skincare/makeup. Channing was in the background then he kept walking in front of the camera like he didn't know she was filming. She turned and said I'm filming can you not walk in front of the camera. Something like that. He just turned and looked at her, but didn't apologize. You can tell there was no love in his eyes a long time now. I was sad for her ❤. She tried to be strong for her kid and put up a good face for him. Happy for her with new love ❤✊

She deserved continued spousal support if her career did not progress. If she gets re married, then it gets discontinued.
She is engaged to Steve Kazee….and has been for 2 years. She says she is in “no rush,” and has paused the planning of their wedding due to the pandemic. She also has a son with Steve. Their son is almost 2. At this point, I do not think spousal support is appropriate. It would be hard to argue otherwise.
Unfortunately Jenna was previously always a backup dancer, and never really hit big in the acting industry. Step up and witches of eastwick are really the primary things she is known for, and WoE wasn’t on very long and got an early cancellation.
What she was HEAVILY known for was being Channing’s wife.
On the other hand, Channing had plenty of commercial success, and a lot of it before they ever got married. Step up(2006) and step up 2 (2008) (which he was in but Jenna was not), supercross(2005) with Steve Howey, a guide to recognizing your saints(2006)- which he was in with RDJ, Shia Labeouf, Rosario Dawson- AND he got a teen choice award for breakout movie star for, She’s the Man(2006)- alongside Amanda Bynes, Coach Carter (2005)- the amazing cast list is too long to name, GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra (2009, with Dennis Quaid, Fighting (2009) with Luís Guzman, Public Enemies (2009) with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, Stop-Loss(2008), with Ryan Philippe and Joseph Gordon Levitt, and Havoc (2005), with Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon Levitt, to name some…..all would have been filmed before they got married in 2009- because anything released in 2009 would have been filmed AT LEAST a year prior to that.
If she had been equally as famous prior to their marriage and then her career dwindled or if she had never been in the industry, spousal support could have been reasonable, but honestly Jenna was at her MOST famous when they split as she had a brand deal with Danskin and was doing World of Dance. The divorce also made her relevant enough to write and sell a memoir and make multiple Talk show appearances.

California has a built in prenuptial agreement. They were married for less than 10 years so Jenna can only get half of what Channing made during their marriage for half the length of their marriage. The marriage has to reach 10 years to receive more than that.

I have been married 33 years and it is a job to stay together but a very worthy job. He has had to be there for me more than I have had to be for them because I had some terrible injuries from a car accident several Surgeries another car accident and then repeat so he has been a rock. It's been hard but well worth it.

It's strange how he started dating Jessie J, who baisically looks like a slightly less beautiful version of Jennifer Dewan. Kinda weird. I feel like many Hollywood marriages breakup for silly, selfish reasons. 'We grew apart' is such a frivolous reason to divorce. When you've got kids, it's your duty to 'grow back together again'. (Even if you dont have kids, you have society using you as a role model, as someone whom sets societal expectations and norms. It's your moral duty to set a good example, thats the deal you agreed to when you choose to become famous. Which you did choose to become, not many people become famous by accident). It's not like you aren't attracted to each other anymore, or like someone became violent, or was cheating. All it would take is a minimum amount of effort to strengthen that bond again.

We all know that 70% of divorces are filed by women who claim some bs reason; however, in thus case with them two, you never see a woman being able to get a better man, with more status than the man whom she divorced. Whoever Jenna is with now, isn't on tatum's level; but if you've been paying attention; men who were divorced from their wives (wives choice to divorce), always end up with a younger hotter woman and that younger hotter woman, status always surpasses that of his ex (mainly because of the man himself). Women take steps down after divorce, while men never need to. World is filled with hotter younger women that can be pluck from a fruit tree in a huge garden; world doesn't have enough of men rhat women desire.

You are absolutely correct, there will always be younger and hotter available for someone like Tatum no question, but younger and hotter does not mean more loyal, which is great if nothing ever goes wrong in your life, but just take a look at Brendan Fraser or Robin Williams to see what a pos women can do to your life, even really rich powerful guys need to be careful who they let into their lives.

I think the comments truly don't get relationship and the need to let a person go, when 1 or both parties are not benefiting from the relationship anymore. It's more than just being married and getting a divorce, half the people in the comments have dated and been in a relationship and ended it because it wasn't worth it. It's the same way with marriage, people make mistakes with the partner they choose to marry all the time, doesn't take away from the love and the experience and to know what you want out of a relationship next time. This is why getting married early on can be an issue cause most don't understand what they're getting themselves into and what a relationship actually is. And let's be honest the reason why majority of people are still married is because they're stuck and don't won't to get a divorce cause that mean they lose their stability and have to do the cycle all over again and nobody wants to be put in the love predicament twice.
