Thank god it wasn't Ryan. I just can't see him pulling off that innocent golden retriever type of character who's just trying their best like Channing did. His signature sarcastic quips would not have worked with that character.
@@halfbeats The proposal too was adlibbed and elevated a lot by Sandra and Ryan. They would have made it work. Director also gave the full credit of the success of the movie to the leads when they won all the popular awards
ohhh thank you Daniel. what he said about the "details" that crew bring to the sets (from all departments) is so appreciated. most of those details are missed by audiences, but the more we can contribute to the world the actors inhabit the better they can perform and bring the whole "world of the story" to life. also, as creatives...it simply makes our jobs more fun for us...and being appreciated for it, like daniel does here, is the icing.

Love Channing and Brad, but Daniel Radcliffe as the bad guy....he was sooooo FUNNY! Did a great job. That boy has come a long, long way from Harry Potter for sure.

This video has made me fall in love with their bff-love for each other; need to see this movie STAT! Sad it was so dismissed…I literally don’t even remember hearing about it being out, but after the fact i did hear Sandra bullock was in a movie that bombed (the movies that don’t do as well with the “critics” are always my fave anyway)….but now I need to see this!!! Like….LAST MONTH. To be fair I’ve been a little wimp holed up in my apartment and don’t think I’ll go to a movie theater again haha😬Covid anxiety anyone? But assume it’s rentable by now wahoooo

Was great fun. Loved the movie location. Brad Pitts cameo was hilarious and done beautifully. Sandra and Channing were so cute together. "The villain was a bit over the top." Heavy Weights. JK the villain was funny. Well drawn characters. Also props to the actress who played her editor/assistant. She was hilarious!

I actually enjoyed this film way more than I expected. It perfectly fits into its categories of action, adventure, comedy, and romance.
The story was very enjoyable. It started off kind of wonky and felt like I was in for a bad time, but once the "prologue" passed and the main portion of the movie started it got much better.
The chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum worked surprisingly well, and only got better as the film progressed. I did enjoy Daniel Radcliffe as the antagonist. More of a bratty rich boy than an evil "I want to murder everyone" kind of bad guy.
By the end I felt that the big part of the film was that the romance was definitely geared towards the women while the action parts were geared towards the men. The comedy could've gone either way, and some may find certain parts funnier than others, both scenes and what's actually funny.
I also enjoyed the score. The way certain soundtracks were worked into the scenes noticeably helped enhance them (as soundtracks should).
Overall, I think this film is perfect for a movie date night. It's funny, it's romantic, it has a pretty good action/adventure story and it's not as cheesy as most romcoms tend to be.

Loved the movie, and these actors were perfect in their roles. So was Oscar Nunez, who added just the right amount of "off the wall" like he did in The Proposal. Hilarious!

Wait I can’t believe this was so overlooked! The movies that end up being the best to watch are always prettty low on the rotten tomatoes scale for me, and then I’ll watch the 95-100% movies and find myself either in a depressed mood at the end or just disappoiiiinted. This duo seems so unexpectedly fun and bff-y I love it

I enjoyed it been a long time since I've seen cute silly fun movie! And I always loved Sandra! Channing and Brad were great but Daniel killed it as usual, fantastic actor! she is still so gorgeous I was blown away how great she still looks seriously some 20 something year olds can hide!

Don’t hold your breath on them doing more movies, at least for a while. Sandra has made lots of movies and now all she wants to do is spend her time with her family. She said that this was her last movie, at least for quite a while. Making movies takes her away from her 2 little kids and she doesn’t want to miss any more time with them at their ages. While I love watching Sandra's movies and will miss not having new ones, I respect the fact that she wants to put her kids first.

i like that the heroine was responsible and, once her manager told her to take care of the jumpsuit as it was on loan, she really felt for it and still kept all its parts in the jungle))) and at the end, when she survived and finally met the manager again, the first thing she said to her was "i am sorry, i broke the jumpsuit".
