This is very cool technologically. I think dialogue removal has huge benefits from an edit standpoint where you have a great emotional take but the director might want to remove a line. Regarding languages, the uncanny valley can be bridged to an extent when only masking the mouth movement... but I'm sceptical all languages will play well with every facial performance. Mouth and eyes are heavily interlinked in both a mechanical and emotional context. Exciting technology nonetheless. Interested to see what a feature-length pipeline would be!
This is an amazing tech with incredible potentials… it’s up to us as a society to make sure that we are taking care of our people with laws and practices.
@@salvadoran_uwuI'm pretty sure the speaker has to redeliver the line, and the mouths onscreen will move to the new recording. It's not like an AI voice.
This clip is pretty decent, unlike the "Forrest Gump" and "A few good men" ones. Still the company name is too overconfident for the current results. That said, I have no doubt the day will come when a lipsynced dub with custom-made AI recreated voices is a commonplace practice.
It is only a matter of time. Voice cloning already exists. It works. Text translation already exists. It works and it's becoming much better and region-specific. You will need a datasets of different "natural" accents from each region of the world along with a translated, voice cloning, Flawless' Truesync together and it will probably work. You start from there and it can only get better.
Maybe they’ll use this revolutionary technology for markets that usually don’t dub foreign content for older audiences like Polish, Hebrew, Slovenian, Croatian, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Icelandic, Finnish, Welsh, Gaelic, etc. I’ve read that this technology will start to become mainstream next year. The sky is the limit!
I used to work in the dubbing industry in my country as a sound engineer and instructor, working with shows and movies. If it was a high-priority project, like "Ice age" etc. then we would have external voice directors and I would just be micing up the actor, operating the DAW etc. The studio owners underpaid everyone involved so I can only imagine what that industry is going to look like a few years from now.
Did Prey from 2022 use this technology? I watched it in the Comanche dub and the audio seemed perfectly synced with the lips except for one or two scenes.
The success of your project will be determined by the price that they put at your service. If it's too expensive, it may not be a significant cost-benefit to even bother to try it.
HERE IS THE MILLION DOLLAW QUESTION: Is this an actual product and if so, how can you buy it? Flawless has been bragging about this for years but it is not available for purchase and their website is useless.
Most likely bought or they were silenced before this ever became a thing. The only way to use AI for dubbing now is through RVC or the character crumbs given on 11labs.
Lol is the AI bad or why are the parts showing it doing dubs only like 2 sec long? I can't even see what happens before it already moves to other stuff
When will it become available as standalone software, or in CZcams? I heard CZcams wants to use it. If NOW another video platform would offer, this platform could end CZcams's market leadership. I could instantly watch many videos that I have not watched before because of the English language. I could instantly generate videos in perfect English, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, etc. without fluency in English and other languages. Live translation in a stream would also be very useful. Now I don't know if it would be worth waiting for the launch on CZcams. It should also be possible to get a professional voice in the same process. And to use a face/skin filter. That would level the playing field on CZcams and co.
I saw this movie and didn't know about this. I did like the movie. One of the better things to come out of Hollywood in a long time. No political messaging, no crappy CGI fakeness and explosions happening every 10 seconds. No poor plot twist that you see coming a mile off. Just a good clean movie with an actual plot twist or two that hits hard.
This type of Ai technology opens a new chapter on copyright issues. It is voice and image manipulation of the original actor. A true challenge for Hollywood Unions and Entettainment Law Firms.
I'd like to think it shouldn't be too hard, as long as the talent and the studio are in agreement on what can and can't be done with their likeness... But we got this protest going on right now, so you're right, it's indeed a challenge.
Cool technology, but it was a shame it had to be backed down to PG-13 - honestly hearing "freaking" so much in the film (and the actress says it a lot) deescalates the gravity of the situation and rings hollow.
I think this is due to see how in some movies when they are dubbed, they minimize the words because it is the client's request or is it that the translators must keep the script stable so that the actor can have good lypsinc.
This is absolutely horrible. It messes up the performance, and it's, IMO, way worse than just dubbing, because I KNOW they're not speaking Japanese, and it hurts the experience more than knowing the sound doesn't match the image perfectly.
Kinda wanna see a movie with everyone's mouth shut

facial expressions are not connected to any language. This is why we can read someone's expressions without knowing the his/her language
@@nikolaynikiforov3200You moderate that to your perception
You already have that hindrance with dubbing.

When movies are fully written and performed by AI, I will train my personal AI to watch them and then provide me with TLDW; summaries
Wait! Save resources by skipping the movie and just have an AI come up with good summaries.

Yes, polish use only voice over with one speaker o_0.
