In Ravel’s La Maniere de Chabrier can you just explain how to play the 2nd line where the hands get in each other’s way. Merci.

I'll have to have a look at this, I am not so familiar with that piece.

I wouldn't normally ask you this but would you consider playing Debussy's Rvereie for us on this piano. I promise I won't ask again.

I recognize your light sitting beside you; so is this your new home? Did you get married? I didn't see any information indicating that you did. If you did, well then congratulations!

Hi CC, I did indeed get married, thanks! This is the same apartment, with a different piano which was recently loaned to me.

Is you wife a musician too and if she is, will you make a video together? What is your wife's name. I so wanted to make jokes about getting married but I refrain in the name of good manners. Besides, you've probably already had your fill. Your piano has a very nice tone, is it by any chance a Sherlock Manning? I really liked the depth of your other piano. Did you have to part with it?

@@mabdub My wife is a violinist yes. I still have the other piano, but it doesn't hold it's tune so I've replaced it with this old Gerhard Heintzman piano.

A violinist, how perfect. My second guess was Heintzman, they are great pianos, solidly built and truly meant to last.1950's is my guess. When I was young and growing up in Canada, Heintzman was considered the Canadian equivalent of Steinway. The major conservatories and Universities all had Heintzman's. I used to have a grand in an apartment. I bought a sheet of sound proofing insulation foam and lightly tacked it to the ribs under the soundboard with very tiny dabs of crazy glue. Results were effective, helped appease my neighbours. Nowadays there are even better products. No damage was done to the piano.
