I was in my aesthetics salon a few days back and behind the counter was this BEAUTIFUL girl! She just looked so young and fresh faced. Even though she wore a full face of makeup, it looked like she was bare faced and just naturally gorgeous! In this video, I recreate her lovely look.

Curious how you are always so positive and have a great outlook on life? I'm in my 40's and life seems to be very tough as I'm getting older. Beth, can you make a video on how you learned to be so positive and encouraging as a person? maybe some stories of your childhood, have you always been very positive and uplifting as a person? any tips would be greatly appreciated. love your videos and positivity.
Well... First, she must send a positive video with her content. It's better for her audience. Second, everybody have these less enthousiatic period. Even very fortunate people. Life is always changing and sometimes it's not always what we prefer. Stay active, each day even if you don't work or feel to go outside. It's good for self esteem and to stay positive. Made a schedule of your activities (walk- 30 min. (or more at 1.30 etc.etc.). Place a check after doing it. Do some activities specifically for you to feel and be beautiful. Look at you, thank you and smile at yourself in the mirror. Prepare a nice lunch, bath, etc. Write your objectives, future projects you want to realize (holidays, work, etc.). You have few idea here. All these actions are ideas who can help you. Go away from your solitude, sadness by actions. It's powerful and it's very healthy 🌞Hope these suggestions can help.

I appreciate all the suggestions and help. I'm having a ton of health challenges and everyday seems to be more difficult for me. I like to watch videos from Beth because they get my mind off my problems and she's a joy to watch. thanks again.
I just started meditating again, only for five minutes at a time because I'm so fidgety (planning to increase time bit by bit), but I've noticed even that little bit shifts my outlook. I use a simple method on The Satsang Foundation channel for the Hum Sau technique. I really like Sri M and read his amazing book Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master.

Amy, I’m 47 and I recently discovered Dr. Jonice Webb. She has a CZcams channel and is an author of 2 books, that I purchased right away and am reading. I’m not sure what kind of childhood you had, but mine was very difficult and I spent a lot of time alone due to my brother’s illness and eventual death. Anyway, because of that, I developed my own coping mechanism that hasn’t helped me in adulthood. Life for me has been very black and white with very little color, if you know what I mean. Dr. Webb talks about “childhood emotional neglect”, which I never realized was a thing but it explains me to a T!!! … maybe you had a similar experience. If so, I would highly recommend you check her out and read her books. Total game changer for me because after all, you can’t change what you don’t acknowledge or know is a thing. Best of luck to you!

I love this look on you! You have to have beautiful skin as yours to pull this off. If I were you, this would be my everyday look, maybe grocery store look and the glam you usually do for the videos, special occasions and such. Beautiful either way.

Hi Beth! I use to use the eyelash growth serums and after doing some research,I have learned that they can actually migrate and cause hallowing out of the under eye and hallow eye shadows.
I have heard that too, but I personally have not experienced that. Thanks for sharing it though.
I stopped using them, in Sweden they are vorbidden. In Germany there is discussing going on wether they stay on the market or not.

Love this makeup on you. I have similar eyes to yours (small, deep set) so this gives me an idea of how I'd look. I stopped lining my lower lids which made my eyes look smaller. A medium toned shadow is what I use now. You can save the heavier, glam look for evening and parties. What does Alan/Allen prefer?

I'm a lighter look girl myself. But we are all different. I think do which ever one makes you happy. Our Mom taught us to fold/ hang up our laundry the minute it comes out of the dryer. All of us girls do that.

Fabulous as always! This is similar as to how I apply my makeup with one small difference. I apply that liner along my waterline AFTER curling and applying mascara. It’s a last step for me. You might want to try it.

Rather than describe your usual makeup as "glam", I think your artistry enhances your fair coloring and reflects your appreciation for and outlook on life, especially the sparkly joy in your eyes. Contrary to popular belief, sometimes less is less, regardless of one's age.

I have felt my eyeliner looks dated and makes my eyes look smaller. I don’t know exactly the shadows you used, because the camera angle cut off the view of the palette. You always look beautiful no matter how you apply your makeup! I really like the updated, more natural look on you with a couple of exceptions. The shade of eye shadow isn't working - not sure if it's too light or just the tone but trying another shade closer to what you would use as a bronzer (in fact try your bronzer as an eye shadow). Also the beautiful girl has a dewy makeup look - using a power as a foundation doesn't provide that dewy look, try a tinted serum instead!

This look takes at least five years off of you! Not that you look old, you look great. It is much softer and also seems more current. Not using that white glitter shadow that you normally use really warms your entire look. Thanks for this video!

I recently tried ELF lash serum and never used a lash serum before...because I like wearing lashes BUT WOW! It works really well, within 2 weeks I had lashes where I was always sparse...and ELF is so inexpensive!

I have long hair as well but dread going to get it trimmed because it is becoming so thin already but I don't care as I will never chop off my long hair into an old lady bob; just saying. Also especially what does she do as far as skin care routines like which masks at home does she use or maybe she gets regular hydrafacials ect…which makes a difference
And of course what her usual diet is , she appears to be very hydrated and plump -that’s diet and lifestyle and supplements like omega 3s I’d bet .

I plan to ask my ophthalmologist if using Revitalash, which has prostaglandins, would interact with my glaucoma drops, even though I'd only paint it on my lash line and not put a drop in my eyes. Have any of you used both? I don't care about pigmentation or fat loss around the eye because I already have that so no change there.

I would never leave the house without the works until we started wearing protective masks then I decided why put on makeup just to cover it up? Now I still don't wear makeup because I realize no one is really looking at me, studying my eyeliner, whether I'm wearing lipstick etc. Just a lot of trouble to apply then remove. Guess if I were in the spotlight for whatever reason I would but truth is other people don't really care whether you are wearing blush or have abs or your hair is done just so. I'm all about comfort these days.
I really totally get where you are coming from. I felt the same way during Covid for sure!
Not using the CC cream and substituing powder foundation and using setting powder changes the entire look. Can you try this look again acutally using what she did and not reverting to your old habits? I think you would be amazed. Note how she was slightly bronzed with a glow on the forehead and bridge of the nose . Also, you made winged eye shadow and that made this look more dated and less 'fresh.' Linda
