I love your positive thoughts....I have found that I have gotten older that I am more negative about life and this summer I am trying to change that. I teach school and it seems that during the year I felt that negativity start to build, due to factors out of my control. I love your thought about count your blessings, thank you for sharing your positive and candid outlook on life. I am looking forward to seeing how your new house turns out. We (dear hubby) and I have lived in 6 homes in our 34 years of marriage...fixing and selling to move on. I think we are finally in our forever home...unless we get the moving bug again. Blessing on you....

We bought our current home almost 5 years ago and had remodeling done. Nothing on the scale you’re doing but, it was a nightmare! I learned a lot. Two months after it was finished I fell and broke my foot, had to have surgery and was in a boot for three months. It took me nine months to completely unpack. I couldn’t let my husband help me unpack because he wouldn’t remember where he put anything. He was in the beginning stages of dementia. Don’t be hard on yourself for feeling the stress - you’re human.

Of course I remember Romper Room! I was always wanting her to see me too, but my name is pretty rare so it never happened. That's really fun that your parents knew her. Your makeup looks lovely as usual, but I especially like the soft look. My dad always said that remodeling houses was much more challenging than building one from the ground up. I like your positive visualizations. I always like checking in with you. I'm going through some family challenges right now so I needed your reminder that we should pray as though we have already received the blessing.

When my Husband and I moved from Alaska to Washington, we had much work done on the home we bought. We were living with two camping chairs and a TV on the floor. The carpet had been taken out so everything was on the sub-floor. We had bought a mattress and had that on the floor in the bedroom with boxes turned upside down for night stands. It was quite an adventure. I can tell that this remodel is difficult for you. I guess just think about how wonderful it will be when it's all done. I know it will be beautiful for you and you will enjoy your homes for years to come. Also, don't stop wearing the shimmer eye shadow if it makes you happy. I'm 67 years old and still wear it and love it. Take care Beth.

I don't use it, but my BFF uses "Just for Men Mustache and Beard Dye." I know, it sounds weird. But, the brows are difficult to dye because the outer cuticle is tougher than regular hair on your head. So the moustache dye is designed to penetrate that and it works really well. They have a medium blonde and a light brown that I think might work for you. Love your videos, Beth, I hope this helps!

Hi Beth! Me and my husband are building our dream house, and it was a huge and tired process that is driving us crazy and broke. I cant´t help feel negative too. We are dealing with a lot of different professionals and the amount of problems and delays are to much bigger than we could imagine. The dream is now a nightmare. Another thing that is making me blue and anxious is dealing with the moving process. I am living almost 32 years in my current house and the perspective to move and keep a lot of things behind is not easy. Declut carring just few and better things is an emocional process to me. You are right, the only releaf is pray. I enjoy watching your videos so much from Brazil.

I dye my brows with Just for Men mustache and beard dye (not the hair dye). Lots of colors, inexpensive. The color lasts for me about 3 weeks. You only need to use a tiny amount, so the box lasts a long time. Profusion makes an eye primer that is very similar to Urban Decay. The neutral version covers eyelid discoloration. Thanks for your excellent video! ❤
You can tint your brows… it takes care of the Grays & makes it easier to do your brows.

That is the PRECISE feeling I had when I saw you..like all's well in the world🤗 Recently I had home renovations that should have been completed within three months (in a perfect world) Finally completed after 15 months! The usual few hours/day work to not showing up at all. It just about took the stuffing out of me... until I had a talk with myself. Time goes fast enough.. let me not rush.. if its done this week or next month so be it! Only then could I live life without depending on the condition of my home.Wishing you and hubby all the best😍
I used to use the same brow pencil, but I have recently switched to Elf...way cheaper and works just as well. What did you spray your brush with to blend your foundation?
I also use Elf in Taupe.

He was a sweet dog and although it is so sad to see him gone, I know all dogs go to heaven and we'll see him again. Looking great, Beth! Have you tried the ELF brow pencil in taupe? I like it and it’s quick. I also very much like the Benefit brow tint or mascara in shade 3. That may do a better job of covering the gray. I am blonde with green eyes btw. I still use shimmer eyeshadow too, because I like it! I don’t use chunky glitter though. And I am 63. Home construction is stressful!! Painters I found difficult to get to show up. We added skylights and garden doors to our family room that was supposed to take 5 days, six weeks later it was finally done but was worth the wait! Do you stay home when the subcontractors are there? I always did because we’ve always had pets. Stay strong, you got this!!!

Beth, what timing! I'm going through a remodel as well. I know what you're going through in dealing with the contractors, coming for a few hours a day, is unacceptable. we expect the work to be done with in a timely manner. I'm super upset because my kitchen is upside down, my bathroom hasn't been finished because banging & tearing down or drilling from too many workers is a it much for me. It's so frustrating, and my patience is finally calming because they installed my stove so I can at least cook eggs or something light. I wish they would have started one thing at a time instead of 3, and none are finished, and it's been 3 weeks. I'm going to pray as you suggested and hope it calms my frustration.

Hi Beth - I really enjoyed your honesty and home history story. My husband and I want to remodel our master bathroom but I can't seem to get motivated to organize the entire project. It's all the decisions and finding the contractor that stalls me. Have you considered doing a video on how to organize a remodeling project? Hi Carole. I also dye my eyebrows once a month with an ash blonde color but unfortunately it will not seem to cover the grays. I have heard this isn’t the case when you’re a brunette and can use a darker color. Maybe I just need to go a bit darker.

Hi Beth! You are always super comforting! You encourage such grace and positivity. Right now we are going through a very frustrating situation in having to apply for a variance in order to raise our home at the NJ shore in order to add parking. We are on our third plan submission to the city engineer and still haven’t secured a spot on the zoning calendar uuuuugh! I too try to be a positive person and live in love and light, but there have been days Beth that I have wanted to clench my fists and stamp my feet and just want to have a tantrum/pity party just for me. 😂😂😂 We are only human and all have those moments of frustration and doubt. We get up, brush ourselves off, and get back on the horse and get back into that positive place, but boy oh boy….😅 Wishing you much success with your project. Yes, your brows my hair stylist says are an easy fix. Your stylist can put a little color on them. Use whatever shade that you want your brows. ❤️I love your videos.
Darn! I asked my stylist that and for some reason she will not do it! That is a wonderful idea, though, and I think I need to find someone who will.
I use Mustache & Beard color. It takes 5 minutes and it lasts about 2 weeks.
I’ve had several stylist color my brows.

I am working out, but quite honestly not as much as I did before. In terms of my diet, I am on a Whole Foods plant-based diet, but I have been gaining some weight lately which I’m not happy about. Ouch!

I would love to recommend the RefectoCil - Eyelash & Brow Tint - 1.1 Graphite (15mL) dont forget you need the RefectoCil Oxidant liquid as well, its very soft and adds a little bit of colour

I think you should shape your brows a little more. Give them a little of an arch. I like the color. I have tried dying mine but it really doesn’t last long. You have beautiful skin Beth.
